skill points aren't available for that.
Pistols = novice marksman, pistols IV, ranged support, pistoleer skills= 15 + 14 + 14 + 63 = 106
BH = novice scout, explor IV, novice marksman, ranged support, bh skills= 15 + 14 + (0) + (0) + 63 = 92
Smuggler = novice brawler, unarmed IV, novice marksman, pistols IV, smuggler skills = 15 + 14 + (0) + (0) + 63 = 92
106 + 92 + 92 = 290.
Mastering Pistols and Bounty Hunter alone is going to take up 198 points, leaving you just 52 points left over.

And this is the other operative word. Marksman is not an elite profession.
Seriously, I don't think that SP are going to change, I think we can bank on keeping 15-1-2-3-4-5-6-5-4-3-2-1 through the tress of most professions (Pilot, Politician and ID being the notable exceptions) Otherwise Docs, BEs and CMs get really really screwed. (inability to master an elite combat prof to go with)
And as to above, there is one big flaw in Blair's statement.
Swords-Fencer-TK 246 SP under revamp prereqs and SP as we know them. Thouhg it has been speculated that you will simply be disallowed to purchase the third elite master box when you have two active masteries

I personally doubt that SP costs are going to change (per box that is) becuase to do so would screw up metrics. I'm thinking for instance CMs not being able to master a ranged profession if the numbers changed.
