There was talk about that before, and you're exactly right-- reducing condition on your target's weapon would be too harsh, so it was never done.

I liked the idea of unequipping the weapon on a successful hit, but if you could spam this special, you would keep any ranged prof pretty well subdued. It would be a lot more serious now with the delay in equipping weapons when in combat!

I think they should change the special to "Lair Shot 1" and "Lair Shot 2" as a temporary measure!

Anyone who uses a Exceptional or Legendary weapon probably has an Anti-Decay kit on it anyways though.
