This also uses 250 skillpoints. I highlighted the major changes.

Defense vs Knockdown +50
Defense vs Posture Change +20
Defense vs Stun +40
Dodge +165
Melee Defense +116
Melee Mitigation 2
Pistol Accuracy +105
Pistol Accuracy While Moving +30
Pistol Accuracy While Standing +15
Pistol Aiming +16
Pistol Speed +79 <-- definitely will need some SEAs for this.
Ranged Defense +91 <-- only +6 more but still helps.

Andriko, the template i'm going for is very similar to yours:
Master Pistoleer
BH 0-0-4-0
Fencer 0-4-4-0
The addition of Fencer lines adds some seriously good defence to a very attacking template. This should rock in PvP.

Mine is:
BH: 0040
Master Pistoleer
TK: 4003
Some of the defenses are down, but I still have
Well past speed cap on pistols
Fire DOT with pistol shots
+94 melee defense
+52 ranged defense
+105 dodge (no different from any other master pistoleer)
The ability to self heal all wounds, poison, and disease within seconds
Power boost (adds 50% of the value of your mind to HAM)
+155 pistol accuracy
+56 defense acuity (dodge, block, counterattack or evade)
Force of will (the ability to immediatelystand back up and fight after being incapped)

I've decided on Master Pistoleer / 3-0-4-0 BH (there are too many Jedi that my guild doesn't like to NOT pick up the Investigation line
) And either 0-0-4-0 Smuggler OR 4-0-0-0 Fencer. If I take Smuggler I'll be able to fire off a 1 sec Last Ditch, Feign Death, Panic Shot, and Low Blow. If I take Fencer, I'll have 120 Dodge, 116 Melee Def, and 91 Ranged Def (instead of 105, 49, and 22 respectively). The main issue in my mind is "is a 1 sec Last Ditch so much better than a 1 sec Stopping Shot that I should sacrifice 15 Dodge, 67 Melee Def, and 69 Ranged Def for it?"

Last ditch is nice, but it didn't ever seem to do that much more damage than stopping shot (I think it has an increase of 1 in the damage multiplier over stopping shot). Feign death is nerfed to the point where it's not worth using (using it in PVE gets you aggroed the instant you get up, even from 80+ meters away, and using it in PVP is just inviting yourself to be griefed as you can still be attacked while feigning, leaving you blackbarred and with broken armor). Panic shot is nerfed to the point where it's not worth using (the instant you hit it with another attack the delay breaks, making it a 1 second delay, not 10). Low blow is ok, but without any kind of dizzy attack, there is little point in having it. My suggestion is to go for the fencer skills.

Before you start grinding, you might want to read about a fight I had this morning with a Dark Jedi Knight. I am now fully in Avox's camp with dodge. But you might think about some decent melee moves.

SCREW master marksman bro. You would be MUCH better off mastering pistoleer and instead of fencer 1440 going 4400 fencer for the higher ranged and melee defense. I THINK you would have enough points left over for novice medic or something else but DROP master marksman bro :/ the benefits are NOT worth the point cost.
