They had also made mention to added benefits for a higher teir of PvP that jedi would be lotted into. I am guessing that they will have higher progression for those who opt into that higher tier. For us that could be dual wielding as well as other things.
However, it is my opinion that dual wielding for Master Lighsabers will be as far as they ever get on that. After all we are just here to make it financially feesible for jedi to play this game.

Basicly, what is currently known is that they made motion captures (a.k.a animations for sual wielding). And that's it. There was not any clear information about being actually in "code phase", so like our estimed correspondent said, it is better for us to not hold our breath.
