While I agree with the reasons they want to unstack the mods, I keep wondering how in the hell are they going to do this.
is it going to be melee defense(pistoleer) +10 up the .... grips(?) line? and Dodge (pistoleer) up the.... stances(?) line?
It makes sense for a Rifleman to want a melee proffesion, considering they are visioned to be the long range, slow but powerful dmg dealers. Having a powerful and fast close range dmg dealing profession to rely on when the going gets closer then your rifle can keep up with (granted that there is such a thing as a spraystick, but I assume you catch my drift),what then becomes the use of aRifleman's melee defense.
OR is it that they are just reworking everything?

Yup, that counter is any scatter attack. Carbineers, fencers and TKA's all get one, the attacks that scatter damage over all 3 HAM bars go straight through any dodge/counterattack/block template. I suggest if you have a scatter attack, use that, at least until the stacking is fixed.
