I used to be alot more positive myself. Back in the day I never liked the posts that I thought were 'over critical' of the DEV team. But hindsight is always 20/20. Then I see people saying that every MMORPG goes through atleast a year of patches and fixes until its where it is supposed to be. Since this is my first MMO, and probably won't be my last, this point of view does little for me in the way of expectations.
As far as looking forward to dual weilding well....
1) only if its going to give us more DPS to match up with other professions output
2) if it is just for show then the DEVs can take as long as they want.
Bake the cake first. Then the frosting later.

Pistoleers, now is the time to cease the moment! we must rebel, declare open warfare!.... ah, what's the use? the majority of our community are just to nice to go bitching and moaning on other boards about how crap we are. I myself am loathed to do so. When the main board was up with every guy and his cat bitching about professions that needed to be nerfed or professions that needed to be uberfied, Pistoleer was rarely brought into it (barring the start and the odd comments about BHs).
We're doomed to be the new D.E.s... why? because we have nice, normal(ish) people with the pistoleer master tag. I have to think back to a Simpsons episode where Bill Cliton tells Lisa something along the lines of, "The lesson of this for young people is, if you keep complaining about something, eventually, you'll get your own way"
