In Beta I intended to be a Squad Leader and wasn't sure what else I wanted to be. I started with a pistol and used that and used it...never could find myself a rifle or carbine. I finally found them but was used to a pistol. As I progressed I decided an advanced combat profession would be in order and stuck with the pistol. After release I continued with the pistol because by that time I was thoroughly unimpressed with the low rate of fire on the rifle and the high HAM on the carbine.

I took up pistoleer because i like pistols. a rifle cando hit you from afar but pistol is something close and personal. i like standing over my victims as i shoot them in the face. i wnat to run and gun with my pistol the ranged is better them carbien or rifle i cna be close or far and still get a good shot off. tha is why i choose pistoleer.

I took pistoleer for the same reason i took all the skills my character has now. In beta I played a whole bunch of different professions and I had the most fun being a smuggler (even though we only got 2 short weeks to test it). Since 2 of the 4 smuggler lines required pistol experience it was a decision pretty much made for me. Since I have the pistol in my hand I may as well get better with it.

After playing now since release doing all that I do, still chasing smuggler/pistoleer, I can say that I just love being a pistol user. They can nerf it down to 1 damage every 10 seconds and I'll be the only guy running around with a pistol and I won't care in the slightest. I am a gunslinging, dirty fighting mess of a zabrak and love every second of it..nerf me more...THANK YOU SIR CAN I HAVE ANOTHER.......nerf

I became a Pistoleer because pistol was the first weapon given to me in the game. That's how I decided.

It seems to be easier to hunt animals with pistol. I tried rifle and carabine, but they were just too slow for me, especially when I need to get off a Warning Shot against red.

i picked up pistoleer because of the insane nerfs tka's were getting and because melee cannot run and attack i figured i would now be viable in the ranged combat game.. but as it is turning out.. tka's are gonna be the lowest class in the game and pistoleers are going to be the lowest ranged characters in the game

Originally I was going to be a Smuggler and since two of the lines needed pistol xp it was a natural choice to also pick-up Pistoleer. From a role-playing stand point I really cannot see smuggler walking around carrying a rifle or carbine, they need something that they can hide in a jacket or waistbelt.

I became a pistoleer because its just plain the coolest. Probably has something to do with my childhood infatuation with James Bond.

Originally planned to be a wookie CH with a bowcaster (rifle). However since I didn't get any CH xp unless I was on top of my pets until a week or two ago I migrated to pistol. Now I'm a novice pistoleer and loving it. Just wish they would fix our broken parts and give us better pistols ... but hey ... just about every profession has a few gripes like that.

I am concerned about the way they keep putting in nerfs to to stop parts of the game that are working ... instead of fixing parts of the game that are not working.

I went out witha friend who also has same stats as myself and tried out all the shots from the pistoleer line. BS 2, BS3, Stop, and Fan. Ok mayby i shoulda said all the ones that anyone ever uses. I've always heard that Fan shot while it does less dmg it will do more dmg overtimes, and BS 2 is better than BS3 because of the delay. Results after testing, with both of us having 2k hams because we were buffed, nothing hsoots faster. The only thing i saw a difference on was Fan shot seamed to actually shoot slower than the others. I say this because while i was shooting at the dummy, i was also getting hit by his auto attack at a 1 for 1 ratio. but with fan shot i actually saw one point where there was a 2 for 1 ratio, meaning he shot me with auto attack twice between my fan shots. Fan and stop both killed in the same tiem though. simply beacuse i got lucky and fan hit health bar most 11 out of 12 shots.

My final opinion is that i will keap using stop shot, and sometimes eye shot for you fools with 500 mind and are too lazy to migrate it. All other shots just arent up to par. Also BS 2 and BS 3 suck. Oha nd also at 100 speed there are no delays.

I became chose pistoleer as my advanced combat profession because I think it has the coolest titles. Only the Iron Chef title beats Gunfighter or Gunslinger.
