So in other words you target the only non-healable pool? We get nothing of the sort so we have to spam fan, doubletap or worse yet stopping shot just to pray that we can quickly get multiple hits to one of the 3 random pools it hits, 2 minutes later im incapped because I cant heal my mind pool and I may be lucky if I got you down to 1/4 of ANY pool. If the fix BS3 to what is should be and (god forbid) put a timer on knockdowns and make our defensive bonuses work, they could completly take Disarming Shot out completly for all I care. Go away troll, we server your kind here.

Well, I guess that's true about the Fan Shot. Being only Novice( No Experience , heh) pistoleer, I suppose I don't have any word on this.


But still, seriously... I don't see how Pistoleers are bound by no Ranged Knockdown?


I agree with you, that Pistoleer needs it's bugs fixed, and are pretty much stuck to being crappy at PvP right now(Dueled one with a Carbine, it was a close match, I must say...Mind you, this person was a Master Pistoleer, while me also being a Novice Carbineer..?!)


--Razanke, I don't understand what you mean by bleed shot, being unskilled to prevent it? I don't exactly see any way to prevent bleed right now other than with skill modifying tapes...

I still believe that people beliving that they need a long-range knockdown are ignorant, for a weapon that hits the weapon quality...


I suppose, for the Disarm Shot, it should also hit secondary stats, or instead, lower the weapon's condition by a truckload...(50-100 ish?)

Listen you FUKTARD. Did you even look at my Sig? I AM a freaking master pistoleer with expet bounty Hunter. I give you some tips on PVP and you call me a troll? You sir are a newbie and don't deserve any type of gunfighter title by your name. In fact to be the best in pistol use a master gunfighter needs to either take smuggler or bounty hunter pistol skills. Cause a master gunfighter has no ranged knockdown, but a smuggler does with a pistol along with panic shot, and to be the fastest, most accurate with a pistol you need bounty hunter pistol skills. wich happen to come with one very useful shot Eye shot, and the best pistol. With those skill mods I fire stopping shot and fan shot at almost the exact same rate of fire, and with stopping shot I do 400 damage easy to yes a random HAM pool but, 400 damage per second I really don't care that its a random ham shot cause in the worst case scenario in 10 seconds the target is incap'd. If you don't like the advice don't take it. No reason to call anyone a troll who is in fact NOT trolling. I stated that the original posters method of PVP was in fact not a good tactic and I gave you, 2 methods I use in pvp and the 2nd one was an effective way to use HealthShot in pvp. You obviousy chose to go pistoleer/medic cause you are talking about healing and not being able to heal your mind pool, wich is a great template don't get me wrong, but not the strongest pvp template and not the best possible pistol template. You give pistoleers a bad name, a pistoleer is one of the strongest combat professions, learn to use your skills you have now, get a decent pistol, put away the armor, and learn to have fun

I think i speak for most, if not all pistoleers when i say, we absolutely do not want disarming shot to damage the condidtion of someone else's weapon. It is just mean. That being said, I was not good enough before the nerf to use knockdown (1,2,1,1) but there is something you need to remember about pistoleers. We attack heath primarily, which is a healable pool. However, some of the more powerful shots are random ham attacks. If we don't get a knockdown, and we are attacking healable pools, and our more powerful shots are random HAM, then there should be compensation somewhere in there. Personally, i dont mind no knockdown, and attacking healable pools IF the power shots actually consistantly hit the health pool.


Frankly i would like disarm1 to be renamed Lair Shot or Structure shot, b/c it does double damage to those. change disarm 2 to regular ol' disarm and have it do minimal damage to the person while unequipping the weapon (which amounts to probably about a 3 second stun).... among other changes

You see thething with most ppl is they 'think' they know everything & they start posting crap in forums condemned what & what. At least you have the decently to apologise Tebcef. But please dont act stupid again.


As a Master Pistoleer myself, i can say we are gimped as hell(with or without disarm2). Whats so special about our KD move? Everyone else have one. I took up BH pistols so i can use eyeshot. Stopping shot is nice but its RANDOM HAM.


Master Gunfighter? LMAO.....crappppp.

Ok well for starters I must apologize to you, the troll part was meant for the original poster, not yourself. My whole response to your post was worded completly wrong and after re-reading it I had to laugh at myself. Anyways instead of going into detail again, what my point was supposed to be is almost exactly what you said, if the only way a pistoleer can be effective is by picking up an entire line of BH just to have those speed mods and specials to do any damage then that seems to me to be stupid. A pistoleer should be self sufficient on his own without having to pick up the BH Pistol line. Pistols are supposed to target the health pool, but at this time the only shots we get that actually do so are, BS1, BS2 and HS ( all gained before ever getting to pistoleer) and HS2 and BS3 and BS3 does absolutely nothing like it should. In summation if they were to either add a new special or fix BS3 and make it worth the time to use, then pistoleer would be fine, but as it stands I dont have the time to pray that one of my random pool shot specials actually does its job and hits one pool more then the others.

Well I guess I had a mis understanding then. I just really dislike it when I get flamed for trying to help people out. The posts on my pvp tactics was just that. Give other people some different ideas on how to pvp w/o a knockdown, and to see that unless you are gonna play cat in mouse don't waste HAM costs and 2 seconds on health shots.

IMO I would LOVE to be able to use disarm1 or disarm2 to completely obliterate an opponents weapon. In a one on one PVP, that may not be the case, opting to use other methods of attacking an opponent, but in a massive PVP say a reb vs imp raid, heck yeah, I would have no problems and feel no remorse about destroying someones brand spanking new 20k to (in some cases) 75k gun. As someone put it in another post in this forum...

"what next? do we cry for the people wearing armor because everytime we shoot them their armor gets worse?"

Look, I don't believe that Pistoleer should be the ultimate profession.. but I do believe that we should have ONE uber special move like every other combat profession does.

Like the originator of this thread said "let the flaming commence"
