As someone said, "It's a sad state of game when looking cool matters more than being able to fight."
Since we can't fight and they're thinking this is really going to "appease" us... then I might as well look cool while I can't do jack sh*t (for lack of a better term).![]()
I'm thinking no one feels its better to look goodover being able to fight. I do howeverthink it is ok to be excited about some new weapons in-game, After allnew stuffbeats a new nerf.

Judging by this I would guess that the cybernetic gear will be either NPC or PC equipable.

rofl. Agreed, I think the intimidator looks really nice (is it the pistol used by the Clone Trooper squad leaders in The Clone Wars cartoons?) and yes, some of the others look..well, less than desireable. It's the limbs that really concern me though. They look like something out fo Warhammer 40,000, not Star Wars.
Clone wars cartoons? **edit**?

just imgaine this. the cybernetic parts might look crappy and we dont know if the will be for us or for npc's but think of it this way. this might be the first step towards players being droids as a race now that would put an interesting twist. how cool would it be to be a freaking droid.
ohhh gives me chills

Maybe it's just me, but I would think that if any of those new pistols end up having AP2 or AP3, that would be worth much more than fixing any Pistoleer specials...
I can live with broken, useless, redundant, vanilla (actually I like that flavor!) specials, as long as I can use a pistol that will do more than 1 damage to a Krayt dragon!

Hey maybe those cyber arms will allow us to attach an extra set of limbs so we can have four arms and then we can scream that we wanna be able to quad wield pistols so are damage is on par with other proff's. LOLOLOL
Hmmmmm, wait a sec, i dont have 100 Million Credits to buy 4 DE-10's with...

Those pistols look awesome.
Bleh really? I admit I kinda like the intimidator, but the rest look like they were made by Mattel...

Yep, cartoon network ran (and still have a few more to run) a clone wars cartoon series, each one about 5 minutes long (max). Set after SW EP II AotC, they detail (well.. show brief bits of) some of the battles in the clone wars. They were actually quite good.. watched together I found myself wondering why they didn't make AotC like the cartoons

I'm betting some of the pistols you need to be overt to use, in order to promote the GCW.
Also, if you get ganked by a jedi, your toon starts losing limbs, and you need cybernetic ones to replace them
* This item cannot be equipped, you are missing an arm *
How's that for immersion!

It looks like the Arms will be ID things... and sooooo hopefully that those weapons are normal Cert ones, or like the alliance Needler... schematic bought from the Recruiter, which would be pretty cool

except that link is probably someone who has some mods on their files
they don't show up for anyone else, because they're all client-based, but screen shots will show up what you can see
