I usually die twice to my opponnents once... course usually my opponents tend to be riflemen and I rarely wear armor... so what do you expect.

tip, go to a raid and hit everything in site with fanshot. Do the usual pistoleer thing and die, watch as the melee guys clean house and hey presto your PvP rating will go throught the roof... gives a wonderfully inflated score for a pistoleer that makes people go woah! when they hit /showpvp

I broke into the 1700s last night for the first time.

Facts to Know:

I'm sitting around 1650's area right now. Somedays it goes up, some, down. PVP rating doesn't mean anything really. My main is Poncho on the Bria server, Master Pistoleer, BH 0040, TKM 4003, and I am a master seargent inn the Empirial Army. PVP with a nice variety of de-10's, DOT and regular geo blasters, scatters, and a prenerf FWG5.

my personal high is about 1860, but i linger around 1400 these days because i dont pvp as much as i used to , and i walk around unbuffed adn overt alot when i dont realty care, and when we are pve and my bf gets to high i have my buddys kill me to get me back to town faster so i can heal my bf withot having to spend time driving both ways ( ive shifted focus to about 70% pve /30 % pvp now, i spend most of my time hunting krayts/ns elders these days).

on my old template ( from augest 03- til june 04) i was master pistols 0040 smug 0040 commando nov medic 3000 scout, and i also used a mind fire flame thrower which i still have.

I spend the majority of my time killing solely ns elders and giant krayts when im not pvping or crafting on one of my crafter alts ( i have 10 accounts, my pistoleer is my main account i spend 95% of my time on)

about 90% of those dot's ive looted myself as well as the majority of the tissues used in the krayt pistols.

I dont really care about my pvp rating any more though, ever since we started DBing on krayt /ns hunts to get back to heal bf sooner to keep hunting, because mass loothunting is about efficiency, and its how we fund our guild.

Feel free to stop by on valcyn if youd like to see any of these weapons i really do have all of them, which a lot of the rebels have learned the hard way.

the way i have my stuff set up, is that i have the numpad on my keyboard remapped so that each key or shift+ key is directly linked to equipping a specific weapon. i dont run any automated pvp macros, as they only get you into trouble if your fighting somebody who actualy knows what they are doing. I have my middle mouse button bound to the command to clear the combat queue, as sometimes its bad to have a clearque command listed on the same macro for your warcry/intimidate hotkey because you may need to hit intimidate 2 or 3 times to stick it, and hitting the key 3 times with a clearqueue listed in front wont work.

I carry about 30 pistols with me, and have about 12 on my toolbar at any given time, depending on who and where im fighting. my native toolbar (00) is pistols and pistol specials, 01 is my vk's and tka specials, 03 is my pvp armor equip/unequip, and 04 is my pve armor equip/unequip.

as far as pve is concerned, i fight as a tka and am dedicated guild tank., as far as pvp is concerned, i usualy use my pistols, or open with my pistols and then lunge or kd and finish up with vk's
