I think I posted before I saw the last post.

This is where a lot of confusion comes from concerning StoppingShot, though ... you're not the first one to do something like this. Think about the potential effect -- some guy posts to the boards "I'm averaging between 2000 and 4000 in PvP with StoppingShot!" and then I see the same stuff quoted back to me on Correspondent forums, when the reality is that the guy is only really doing between 1000 to 2000, and it's in PvE not PvP. It's one of the things that makes my job harder than it needs to be.

Myself(almost master pistoleer), a commando/squad leader, and a medic/rifleman all got owned the other night by a soloing BH/CH. I think he was using a krayt scatter or something.

To make matters worse, after I bleeded his pet and popped out of the cloning center I saw him just store in his datapad, and pull it out with full HAM and no bleed. I didn't know they could do that... talk about lame. Bh/Ch is probably the best pvp template for small engagements. You need medic for the big ones.

with my 404 dmg scatter, I can hit around 800dmg stopping shots, average of about 600dmg. On the other hand, torso shot and eyeshot rarely hit for over 400dmg with the same pistol. Pistoleers got it good guys.

If you were smarter, you'd realize that your own numbers prove that TorsoShot and EyeShot are better than StoppingShot. Let's say you're right, that you hit for 400 with EyeShot or TorsoShot but average 600 with StoppingShot ... if that's the case you're ALWAYS better off using EyeShot or TorsoShot because those specials target a single HAM bar. toppingShot is a random HAM special, so its damage is spread across all three bars.

So let's do the math. Onaverage, StoppingShot only hits health around 55% of the time. That means that 600 random HAM damage is equivalent to around 330 health damage. You're better off consistantly hitting one bar for 400 ... and either blinding the enemy or setting him on fire at the same time.
