Pointing out the power output of your specials, and the weapons associated with Pistoleer, is one step in getting that accomplished.

BW, I made this clear to Thunderheart just so people understand my position. I am NOT attempting to get you nerfed, I am attempting to get the Bounty Hunters fixed in line with what can be expected per our skill points usage.

If you guys can survive, and we can't, at at least the same rate in the PvE field, something is definitely wrong.

For 7 months I've been crying about the fun factor in this game, that it is the single most important issue outside of server stability and database, to the success of the game. Instead, all of us have seen the nerf bat for the first 3 months, and the fun was systematically removed. They have finally realized this, and the changes you see in your profession on TC are the result.

Enjoy your new changes. I will be working closely with Philosopher1976, hopefully, to see that you do keep those changes.

Thank you for visiting our forum, Wepps. I think you can see from the responses to this post that none of us are interested in getting ina fight with any other profession, and just want to see our profession fixed. I know that on my part I don't really care much about Bounty Hunters, and I wish you all the best. Our goal is NOT to nerf Bounty Hunters and I don't plan on talking much about them, as a Correspondent. That's not my job. As Pistoleers we just want to fix the stuff that is broken in our profession, and we'll let Bounty Hunters worry about their profession.

The original post on this thread was unfortunate, because no one wants to start a feud or conflict. I think that the original poster was reacting to your posts about a "nerf war," your statements that the next patch will destroy BHs, and your complaints that "all other professions have a one-shot kill attack." Trust me, that's news to us. You can understand why people were angry, because they thought you were deliberately misleading the Devs. Personally, Ithink that you are just using those statements as hyperbole to gain the Devs' attention to Bounty Hunter. But if you do think all of those statements are accurate, let's chat and I can walk you through the math on all the Pistoleer and Bounty Hunter specials, since I've tested them all. I don't think either of us wants to mislead the Devs.

As far as the new changes go, I think they're absolutely worthless and I'm going to ask the Devs not to give them to us and instead give us something useful. Dodge and Defense v. Knockdown simply don't work, and anyone who has tested them knows that. Pistoleer already has enough crap on its tree that sounds good but doesn't work or is useless.

Einstein959 Do you realy want to start a fight that much we dont want you nerfed we just want to be un-nerfed so stop making fights were all sick of it. Its because of people like you that alot of people are quiting.

People are quiting because this game has serious problems which haven't even had a whisper of a change in the last five months. They were hashed over in Beta. People aren't quitting because someone disagrees with Wepps and came to the Pistoleer forum to muster support against him. And if I want to hear a bunch of doublespeak I'll go sit in on another corporate meeting. We don't want you nerfed, we just want to be un-nerfed by getting more power than you? That's nerf-by-proxy. Sheesh. Go pull the stick out buddy.

my post is betetr i think. It discusses many different issues, gives certain consessions to BH's, they are after somewhat borked in certain areas, and tries to lead wepps away from nitpickign the most assanine arguments and actually working on valid points.

I can't take a correspondent seriously when they go around trying to suggest that by going up some tree in their profession, people should get the ability to use stimpaks for free.

I like your post in the BH Forums where you are Trolling for new little snippets to add to your sig line concerning this matter. Part of being a Correspondent is asking "What if". If there is enough support among the Players of that Profession, then the Correspondent should take it to the Devs. Thankfully, most BH's saw the use of Stim's for free as frivolous, and the issue was dropped. Until you brought it up.

Remember this, when youare trying totrashanother profession'sCorrespondent for asking "What if".

The Pistoleer Correspondent said "What if we got a Pistol Twirling Animation". To Bounty Hunters, this seemed as far-fetched and frivolous as the Stim Pak idea to you guys.

I laughed at Jaegen too when he asked for holsters. I'm sorry. Being a correspondent allows for asking what ifs but when the what ifs are too blatantly stupid, a good correspondent should filter them out.
