The weapon is a pre-nerf non-krayt FWG5, so dmg isn't exceptional. I've tried disarming blast several times since then, and it is a crappy attack, doing 800-1100 dmg to a single target... I believe it was supposed to be a AOE KD attack, but it obviously isn't... BTW MTPS doesn't work...

If this were an exploit, would I be posting it?

No There are two ways to lay the smack down on a lair like that.

1. If the lair isn't going to spawn anymore creatures. You can normally hit it with a ranged weapon well into the 10's of thousands.

2. Area attack bug. Could be considered an exploit but I have to say it saves time and it works and if you use it honestly isn't your fault. It only happens every now and then and on accident.

The most damage with a pistol i've done on a critter was about 5000. I used to be able to 1 hit kill quite regularly in pvp until the fwg5 nerf, heh.

on a side note, i've done i think it was about 10k dmg to a lair once with a scout blaster... i guess it was that area shot bug someone mentioned...... honestly don't know how and it's only happened once so i don't see this bug really affecting gameplay too much

If the lair is empty (it works occasionally), then your shots do massive dmg, pistols can easily do around 10k with a special. But 2 trillion...

Sorry, 2 million... doesn't really matter considering...

Sad thing is, against a krayt with heavy armor and 90% heat resist, this attack will only deal about 25k...
