all this time i didn't know that was how they would impliment something that hasnt' even really been discussed yet
despite the fact that combat is completely changing before they impliment this /slapself
in all nonsarcasmness, i believe it's not safe to assume anything about dual wield until it's implimented, especially before the combat changes are implimented

Yeah, its the biggest slugger we have, and its only AP1. They should change it to at LEAST AP2 for some extra damage.
When I was an Expert BH and Master Pistoleer, I looked forward to dual pistols with almost uncontrollable anxiety. A few months later I come to realize that it would take much to long to wait for the Devs to put it in so I went on to aquire the Tripple Crown, and I have stayed here to this day.
Mebbe when they do put it in I will pick BH back up and get Akimbo Scatters, but then again, I love my template too much now (even though it does suck).

Yes one of our main issues which should be addressed in the combat upgrade is our ineffectiveness against larger mobs due to our ap1 only restriction... The TKs have this problem also and Fencers for that matter...Im hoping that at the end of the CURB we will be able to stand up pretty well and do our part against the large mobs instead of being a minor player next to the big boys.

DX series weapons obviously based on a hot melt gun 
Rykk blade = Scimitar
Sword = Gladius
Curved Sword = Katana
2-h Curved = Naginata (or is it NoDatchi ?)

Well I just hope the Combat Upgrade breaths a new life to the game. I currently going Triple Master (TKM/M.Pistoleer/M.Smuggler) and been having fun again. I have been watching the Dual Wield topic alot. I hope it is not just a graphical thing and we get some bonus and negitives also only be fair.
I just hope they dont do something stupid like make them the same serial numbers that would just suck because then we couldnt dual DE-10s.
And since its not till after the combat upgrade I say we wait and see what the combat upgrade brings us.

I feel for you, my alt is a pistoleer.......and he's crap compared to my main rifleman.
To actually bring pistoleers up to a rifleman you have to have dual wield with NO penalties.....and that's not going to happen 
The problem with this game is there is NO WAY to balance with so many combat prfoessions. No matter what they do SOMEONE will be under/over balanced.

Nah thats not true\any good game designer can balance a system its a myth in MMORPGs that its hard to do.

Do you really believe that? Why does everything have to be a conspiracy? By that logic, it means that the Devs COULD fix the game but just don't feel like it. They'd rather have people b!tch and moan all day and tell them that a chimp could do their job.
I think it is a hard thing to do. Especially when there will always be at least one guy (such as yourself) that will find the flaw in ANYTHING they do.
I appologize for the flame but you had it coming.
