DE-10 is ap1, ap1 weapons punch right through a psg, nothing is stopped (according to the WS forum)

Acid damage is great since psg's have no resist to acid. So a dx2 will work great.. the hardest thing is to get a high damage dx2. Scatters work well if you have BH. You can wear down the psg with acid damage and then bring in the high damage stun or high damage DE-10 to see if they run out of psg condition and dont have another to equip.

i just started pistoleer and bought a geo blaster for 300k i was lucky 2 get a nice damage slice and its now just over 300. i find it rips thru most things much faster than my trusty DX2

I use my cheap as crappy geo on Jantas. Using fanshot, all five drop in under a minute. I then wip out my scout blaster or any other grind pistol and take down the lair.

I dont know if this is true.. Im not a heavy pvper though. Any pvpers or just players know if this is true?

I just carry a bunch of pistols on me (kinda like Isaac Hayes in "I'm gonna git you sucka") and just use whatever they're vulnerable to. The DX-2 (acid) seems to be the most useful for me in day to day hunting (alright TKM is most useful in day to day hunting) lots of creatures have acid vulnerability.

My Geo Blaster (sliced) works wonders...it can take down most things in no time...so much so that sometimes I have to switch to my lower pistols so I can get exp...

You can use powerups to make it hit harder, but it causes the weapon to decay faster. Also the geo has no armor piercing, so you reduce your damage done by 50%. The best pistoleer weapon against rancors (IMO) is a good DX2.

There is no overall best pistol in pve. You must examine the resistances and type of armor before decideing on which pistol to use. I myself have quite a few pistols on my at all times. PVP geo, PVE geo, de-10, dx2, fwg5, republic blaster and am working on a striker pistol right now.
