Thread: why don't we have a good pistol
Max Damage means nothing its min damage as most good PvP templates include ranged mitigation 3. Geno is also AP0 which skims 25% of the top. There are no really good pistols when compared to the DPS of say an Ion Jawa which has AP1.

Oh yeah, that's pure genius.
Camp geo cave for untold number of hours to get a schematic and geo cubes, getmultiplegroups togetherto kill krayt dragons hoping that you kill one that drops 5 or 9 identical tissues (to be over 500 damage, it has to be better than average tissue too), find a quality weaponsmith willing to do the work, and then hope and pray that you get the weapon slice you want. If you get an undesirable slice, begin at step A. And of course to get those drops you have to go buy decent armor that will get trashed from all the fighting, and also buy buffs each time.
A rifleman can go to their local weaponsmith and choose from aselection of good rifles in 5 minutes.
Pure genius. Wonder why no one else thought of that?

Isn't AP0 against an AR1 (all player armour) a 50% reduction.
It's amazing how bad some people speak or write in what is supposed to be their native language...ENGLISH!!!!! Honestly, i've heard foreigners speak english better than americans do. That's just plain SAD!!!!!!!!

yeah and the only problem most other comabt profs have is if their weaponsmith is not stocked.
