Although I agree that long-range accuracy should take a dive when akimbo, hitting us with big negative accuracy mods at long range should more than take care of this. Limiting the useable range just seems like double-jeopardy, particularly when our accuracy modifiers are so low to begin with.
I'm opposed to reducing our range when dual-wielding.
I'm greatly in favor of negative accuracy mods at longer ranges.

But only with regards to specials... base attack should always be possible. The restriction should only apply to firing off specialsi.e. LLC, Flame Thrower, and Acid Rifle.

Vote A or else we will end up sacraficing damage for speed and accuracy.
It makes sense anyways. Holding a pistol with one hand instead of two is not very easy.
Accuracy will go down, speed will increase, and since we have two pistols damage will increase as well.
Please vote A!!! The pistoleer has been underpowered damage-wise for too long.

Perhaps a system like the Bounty Hunters' LLC--
A large negative to-hit modifier outside of 30m (I'm talking HUGE restrictions here...should only be used when running)
New Dual-Wielding only specials.
- These specials, much like some of the LLC specials, would only be useable inside of 25 m
- These specials would not be as powerful (or able to attack a single pool) as the single-wield ones would.
- Specials would focus on the "double tap" or "multi-target" principles -one attack for one target, one attack for multiple targets each wtih two levels (eg...doublePistolSingle 1 & 2, doublePistolMulti 1& 2)
That way there's a large bonus for single wielding (being able to stay further away and use specific-pool attacks) and also a bonus for dual wielding (specifically very good in multi-target environments. )

I say B, it makes the best sense. Sure I can shoot at someone 64m away with two pistols, doesn't mean I will hit them very well. I think this would make the dx-2 and stun blaster better choices for weapons since the republican is a long range weapon. It would be rather nice to be able to do two types of damage with one attack.

I Guess B.
I would love to see Dual Wield in the game, but I would want it set up to where you don't *have* to use it all the time. I'd be cool for DW to be better in general than a single pistol, but to where's it's not prudent to use it100% of thetime. I actually think DW would be most deadly at point blank. The blast HAS to be more powerful right out the barrel, and two of them at such close range should be killer. They could call it 'Power Blast' or something. But make it like Last Ditch or something; it can have a knockdown, or a dizzy, but definetely a Stun... I mean I'd love to walk up to something and spam that ish, but if it's too good they will nerf it.
BTW, what is kiting? Is that where you keep running from a melee attacker so they can't hit you? Heck, that's what I'd do were this real. =)
Man, this would be so sweet if they got it in the game... maybe it's time to shop for a second DE-10. =)
