Your math is wrong but it's a common mistake. Having resistance to stun means the AP1 kicks in. That means if the shot was going to do 100 damage, it now does 50 due to AP. The percentile (20% in your example) is applied after the AP1 effect. That means that 20% is taken off of 50 damage or 10 damage. So a 20% composite results in 60% total damage reduction. I hope that clears it up.

Great news - thanks. For some reason- I heard that the drops of the schematics came from Nightsisters. I was like, "**edit**? - Why would they have it?" - but, it's good to hear that it at least comes from the Geonosian Caves. I might have to get a couple of people together and camp it sometime soon. I've got a weaponsmith friend that could - no doubt - get this gun maxed ... as he has some of the best resources from the beginning months of the game, still in stock.

Not to mention legendary Krayt Tissues. That sounds scrum-diddly-umptious.

Just thought I should tell you how my guns worked out.

One I got Krayted....w/ damge slice and powerup its somewhere around 185-435 damage at 2.2 speed (got a very low damage slice at 20% but better than a speed slice)

Since i gave one use to the weaponsmith I had 2 made with really uber green cubes and 1 really good yellow cubes.

2 got speed slice (I hate the dev slice gods)-I hate speed slices nuff said

the other one was damaged sliced (again low 23% but hey I'll take it) and ended up around 165-375 with powerup at 2.3 speed.......the condition was about 1350!!!!

So if you can actually loot the stupid schematic....a good weaponsmith can make some really good guns for us Hope this gives you pistoleers some hope in getting that dream gun, now all I need is working specials then we can talk about dual stun guns.

I would tell you but it wont make a difference unless you are going to sacrafice some serious play time.....I mean hours and hours of camping. In fact I spent over 30hrs I think in that one room alone just killing for three weeks to get one stupid schematic.

But, its in the Merc room. It might drop off another mob in the cave but I think we would have heard someone stating as much. As far as I know it only drops from Mercs. Only problem is the spawn rate is only 2 at a time. However, there is a bug (and its getting worse) that causes the spawn rate to go as high as 20-30 at a time. This is how you get the schematic. Go in there with a group of 3-4 people. Just sit there and kill, kill, kill. They will evenutally spawn so fast you'll have trouble deleting the worthless loot in your ivnentory to make room for new loot. I have even looted very nice pistols and rifles.....some with infinite mind poison. Some with WOW stats. Sold these for $$$$ on the trade forums, this way I can buy the Krayt tissue on my server that goes for 2 million.

That is how you get the schematic in a nut shell. Its the updated version of the "jedi grind", no joke.
