To everyone that thinks Fanshot is weak, just wait until you are master. You get a couple of nice bonuses at master and with a fast gun you can spam Fanshot until the cows come home.

Actually, I'd compare the damage more along the lines of Stopping Shot, but if you're doing it right, you'll do that same damage to multiple targets. I have easily hit 4 or more targets in one shot. I find the best thing to do is spam the sh!t out of it when you're about 50m from a lair and so many things will be 1/2 dead by the time the lair is done that you just have some mop-up duty to polish off the critters. Normally just a pistol whip and then mix in a couple of healthshots.
I started using Roll Shot a lot this past week though (before I had all my speed mods) and consider that one of the best shots actually. Fast and fairly powerful. Fast being the keyword. I could spam itat 1 second

Why I love fan shot so much.
This is how I was on Saturday at about 4pm.
4 - 4 - 4 - 4
3 - 3 - 3 - 3
2 - 2 - 2 - 2
1 - 1 - 1 - 1
This is where I was at 8pm
4 - 4 - 4 - 4
3 - 3 - 3 - 3
2 - 2 - 2 - 2
1 - 1 - 1 - 1
That was using fan shot on Savage Quenkers and their lairs.

well when i was getting master i went from 0144 to master within about 6 hours ( 2 sets of buffs) on quinkers, lowblow + LD or spamed healthshot kills a quinker in about 4 shots.

I did Mst Pistoleer from pistols 1 of marksman in about 23hrs I am a Master Doc too so no buff delay of course, and giant Baz Nitches on dathomir..4k each 7-8 a lair about 35k exp in about 10-12 mins i guess and they pay 11k a mish what more do you need Finished with a nice 1.6mil in my bank account too for the privelage!

At master you can use Fanshot to take out a whole patrol of stormies, in about 15 seconds. It's far more effective at master than when you 1st get the shot.

I love fanshot because:
- It's fast
- It does damage on par with stopping shot (just a bit under)
- It does this damage in a cone that goes out up to 64m
- It hits all targets in the cone at once
- It = Uber pistol exp + Lots of dead critters at once
Once you get the hang of keeping targets within the cone, you'll see why everyone loves it so much (if you stand still though, you'll almost never hit in a cone, have to keep running.)
