guys guys, at least we dont have to kill axkva f'ing min to get the schematic like the pikers. so it's only the second hardest lol. the devs do stuff like this to distract us from the real problems. we are all out trying to get the schematic instead of watching the devs screw up.

I think it's wonderful. The idea of making the schematic limited spins is awesome.
They are a true pain to acquire the schem, cubes, krayt and damage slice for, but once you have one, is gold. I've never met someone that was on the recieving end of my blaster and lived more than 30 seconds - and that is being very optimistic. Firing last ditch once a second with a 330 damage (no powerup) blaster = dead person. Also they have a maximum range of 48 meters. They are a true gem, in that they are only for certain situations. I love them.
Jawa has AP1, true enough, but it has hideous accuracy; also, it's slow. If someone is wearing composite and you are weilding a sonic, you have a high chance that they don't have the vuln to stun in their armor patched, so you do more damage to them than if they were nakie. I would rather use my Sonic Blaster with +60 at ideal range anyday over a Jawa with AP1 and +10 at ideal, which you will never be at as a rifleman in pvp.
I don't even know where to start with this whole thread, its full of false statements. It would be way better to have AP1 and +10 accuracy then to +60 accuracy, any stun layer and this guns damage degrades by 25% and the reisist to stun. Somome claimed earlier that the jawa was slower and didn't shoot as fast as a sonic. I mean that was such a dumb statement that i don't know if i should even reply to it. At master rifleman if you have a jawa crafted with normal speed you can spam any one of your specials at the 1.0 cap. At master pistoleer with a crafted sonic blaster with 2.7 speed you spam stopping shot and last ditch at 2.8, fanshot every 1.7 sec. The fact is if you ever say pistoleer at standard master is better then anything at rifle master then you are a complete idiot. And for anyone who claims the shoot this gun at the 1.0 cap, you either have a 1.6 speed blaster +74 speed and spmming fanshot or you better have +91 speed to shoot a 2.7 speed gun at 1.0 with stoppingshot or last ditch.
It may be in your best interest to start with reading the threads, it would save you from further acts that would win you a Darwin award.
Please explain to the class how having piss poor accuracy (ie not hitting) is better than hitting your target? The horrible accuracy on a jawa, especially while in pvp combat (constantly moving, not at ideal range) just plain sucks. A good T21 with AP3 will always be better than a Jawa. If you see someone using a Jawa, they either a) have a crap T21 or b) found some killer krayt tissue to make the jawa worth using.
I fire last ditch at once a second just fine with my sonic blaster, and it would own a rifleman using a jawa any day. Try pvping some, use the weapons, read the threads, then comment. What you need to explain to everyone here is that you cannot spam at last ditch at 1.0 with +74 speed at master pistoleer unless you have a 1.0 speed gun. Do you not understand that rifleman can spam any special at 1.0 with a jawa yet we have to have an extra +18 pistol speed in attachemnts to spam any special with the sonic(2.7 speed) at 1.0. How is that not an advantage, how many pistoleers do you even know that have +18 pistol speed in attachemnts. I do but i don't say on the forums that i shoot every second and i'm a master pistoleer, so many people out there thinkt hat pistol speed doenst matter don't escalate this even further and make our speed go unnoticed for even longer.
Master Gunfighter has strengths over Master Sharpshooter and visa versa. A pistoleer (with smuggler, granted) who knows their jawa rifle using opponent should always emerge victorious with said sonic blaster.Message Edited by DarthXadius on 03-29-2004 12:29 PM
Why don't you duel a master rifleman, take off all your stated clothes, you use the geo and he use the jawa and see who wins. Or you both put on 37% stun armour (which i wear at all times) you use the geo and he uses the jawa and see whats happens. I don't pvp w/o armor, if that is your style, it might explain why you die. I have dueled master rifleman while I am wearing stun layered and non-stun layered armor, in a 1:1 scenario I win every time.
T21 > Jawa - in most scanerios
Sonic >= Jawa - depending on krayt

I haven't fought a an non cm/rifleman in such a long time I cannot begin to say who would win between a pure rifleman vs a pure pistoleer. At lest on starsider 90% of the master rifleman who PVP are also master Cm so I know that if i see a riflem I'm gonna get poisoned.
And as far as the guy who said fencers get a kd/dizzy most fencers I know don't have master brawler I know I don't

Here it is simple.
The crafted pistols kick arse with a Master WS who knows what he/she is doing and provided you have good cubes and some krayt tissue. (you could possible have anywhere from a 300-500 damage pistol easy using those supplies with damage slice)
Drawback, 90% of the pistoleers will never see a good sonic gun for a year or two if nothing changes. Its that bloody rare of a drop. I just looted ONE schematic after 3 weeks of camping the cave almost every day. I looted two uber acid rifles and no one....and I mean no one wanted to trade 1 sonic pistol with just a mesely 300 damage w/ powerupfor them. The rifles could go for millions, but no one had a gun to trade on my server.
Tell me again how 90% of the pistoleers didnt get the shaft with this rare loot?

If you're looking to loot a schematic and then hand it to a weaponsmith to make you an uber weapon you may as well give up now.
If you dont mind paying a decent price, head to the biggest weaponsmiths on your server and you'll find they have them on sale.
I picked mine up 3 days after they went live and there was a choice. I was just prepared to work within the boundarys of the economy.
C'mon guys. You go out and you buy a car, you don't ask Ferrari for a schematic and try and make one.

first of all, if our only gun worth using in pvp with armor and buffs is a ferrari, what do riflemen have as normal schems... fighter jets?
not everyone has 1mil+ to go out and buy one..

I agree that not everybody has 1 million credits. But tell me, what makes you think that every person in this game should have everything they want.
The item went into the game about 3 - 4 weeks ago right? Not everybody is supposed to have one yet.
I’m not in favour of loot on the scale of other online games but I appreciate that it’s needed to motivate people on occasions.
