Got my hopes up...
Is there any reason to think anything will work before the combat rebalance? I'm hanging on in the hopes of getting dual-wield, and to see perhaps what properly working specials will do. :-)

My understanding is that the summit is at the end of the month, so that would be pret-JTL unless Ive read something terribly wrong.

I am hoping that the Defense Stacking nerf will help us at least as a third party bonus. But it'd be nice if they tossed us a bone.

I agree that we shouldn't suffer because other professions can dabble in Pistols. They should have to pick up Pistoleer, NOT the reverse. BH has ONE TREE of Pistols, Commandos & Smugglers simply get a couple of certs (and with Smugglers a couple of extra skills). They should have to pick up Pistoleer to be really good with a pistol, NOT the reverse!!!

Yea any master pistoleer can solo things... its the fact that the things we can solo are worthless when it comes to money making / loot drops
