Since you have the smuggler pistol specials, you might want to try out low blow followed by panic shot. This gives you a good 10 secconds knock down, incidentally your pistol shots gives quite a bit more damage during this period.

As a Smuggler/Pistoleer (Master of both), I usually HealthShot2 everything to get it bleeding first, then:

Low Blow (KD)

Last Ditch (big damage while target prone)

BodyShot3 ('til dead)

But now that I read about using Panic Shot after Low Blow... /drool

Also if I'm with a tank-type character, instead of single-target attacks I'll stand back a short distance and line up Panic Shot and Fan Shot attacks on the entire group of what we're fighting. Nothing like crowd control to make a fight go faster.

stoppingshot has a 5x dmg modifier, lastditch has a 6x. not everyone has rogue. like me i'm rogue2 and bh pistols 2, with mast pistoleer and meditate 4. stoppingshot works nicely. it's the best pistoleer special

I use stopping shot and kill every rancor in less then 10 seconds.. (unless dizzy KD) Infact i have a macro running the whole time that runs stopping shot none stop so all i have to do is click the rancor and put my feet up and watch t.v. it's so easy and i dont even come close to dieing..

Nounverber, your better of replacing bodyshot 3 with healthshot2, since it has a better dmg modifier/speed mod. You'll reset the bleed every shot, but it's not that poerwful anyway (and you can still bleed with HS1 and then spam HS2), but your damage output will increase.

I've been experimenting with both bodyshot3 and healthshot2. Maybe it's the weapons I'm using, but I seem to be getting consistent higher damage out of bodyshot3, while healthshot2 tends to fluctuate wildly between low and high damage.
