Thread: SWG Guns in the movies
I just rewatched Empire Strikes Back, and it was a pleasure being able to identify the DL44s, the D18s and the CDEFs that were in the game (Lando's people in Cloud City all had them - you can see them very clearly when Lando and his people turn on the ST's while taking Leia and Chewie to Vader's shuttle).
No FWG5s, Scatters, DX2s or Scout Blasters that I could tell, though, and of course no republic blasters either. Or Strikers for that matter (everything was energy bolts, so I wouldn't expect Strikers). I don't know if anyone had an SR Combat Pistol either...
Oh, and everyone on the Imperial side had carbines of some sorts. Even Boba Fett had a carbine.
I have to say this brought the fan back out in me. I'm glad they put this kind of detail into the game.
Now if they could only make it work right...
In regards to the Jawa Ion rifle appearing in the movie... just for the info of the person who commented on it's presence...
The Ion Rifle was the rifle used on R2D2 in A New Hope in the biginning of the flick when the droid is originally captured by the Jawas after separting from 3PO.... I'm sure there a many others who already noticed, but for information's sake and boredom at work, I posted this obviosu tidbit if useless information...

Some Carbineer on these forums once said that the reason stormtroopers in the films go down in one hit is that they had already blown their HAM spamming Carbine specials.

Well, it could be that a lot of them in Ep IV were being shot by Han (Low Blow + Panic Shot). This explains a LOT of the death star scenes
