Is a pistoleer to stupid to understand how a launcher pistol works, even though he/she is a PISTOLEER (Pistol Specialist)?
Why can't some of the pistols have certs for them in multiple professions, thats what I mean

You recieve a certification for a weapon asa perk for attaining a skill box. This is a good thing. If you want to use a launcher pistol you have to get novice commando. If you want to use a scatter pistol you have to get novice bounty hunter. Weapon certifications give players a reason to get a skill box. With your line of reasoning why not let any player use any skill in the game. Why not let a novice combat medic use a light saber? Why not let scouts sing and dance?

Only commando's know how to use launcher pistol.

You can use the weapon, but you aren't any *GOOD* with it. You still fire the thing, rockets come out, things explode... but the damage you deal and the speed & accuracy at which you wield it really suffer.

LMFAO, not exactly...
OBVIOUSLY you don't know what I mean. I didn't say anything about a medic using a lightsaber, or a merchant being able to use a Geo Blaster, its not in thier nature...it isn't a combat profession, and aren't specialized in anything related to combat. You should try to understand what I wrote before you comment next time. Its a good practice.
I simply said A PISTOLEER IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EXPERT IN PISTOLS
A novice combat medic isn't supposed to be an expert in a light saber...
Simple enough for me to understand...maybe not you.
Also, using a luncher pistol was probably a bad example

I'd like to better explain this. I think some of the weapons in the game, should transend more than 1 profession. Perheps put the scatter pistol in the pistoleer tree as well, and the DX2 in the BH pistols tree somewhere, not move them, but have it on both professions.
some people make jokes about pikemen not being good with a pistol...and I agree, thats not what I ment. Hopefully I'm explaning this well lol
