I'm considering changing Action to 450 and Health to 750 though, because my Action always remains at 100% as I use my specials, with the foods I eat (Scrimpi). These stats are ideal for me as an unbuffed fighter. If I was a buffed fighter, I would have maxed out my Willpower. When the CURB comes out, I'll undoubtedly completely change everything.
My template is Master Pistoleer, Master Marksman, Bounty Hunter 0040, Scout 4040, Medic 3040, with my remaining points thrown into Force-Sensitive Melee Defense and Ranged Defense.

At launch I leveled to both Teras Kasi master and Master pistoleer unbuffed. I remember killing a lot of tuskens. It's too easy now

Ki'ara like to hunt almost everything. True there are a lot of tougher things she can't take, but I did conquer an Enraged Rancor once. THAT was a fight (fortunately the rest of the lair didn't agro.) I've also taken a Master Combat Medic once, though I had a Doc friend with me throwing cures for that one.
But yeahm I am confident enough in Ki that she usually hunts unbuffed/armored unless someone is offering good money for bigger game. Then she uses a comp chestplate/helmet and some little buffs (they hit for around 500) that I bought off a new Doctor I met in the CNet Med center one day.

I hunt this way all the time.
Endor is my playground. 10k missions are easy to do, if you know what to hunt.
Of course, I also have Ranger to back up Pistoleer, traps do help.
I laff at the clowns who spend 15k on a buffbot to come hunt with me, that's 15k I didn't spend, nor did I spend any on armor that needs replacing in about a week. Yeah, I have a droid I use at times, wow, a one time major expense and then minor expenses for upkeep.
Biggest thing - guessing the ancient rancors. Torturs and tortons are easy, try something that actually can chase you.
