For some of us, our hope is the only thing keeping us here. I want this CURB to work, and so I'll convince myself that it will work. If it falls significantly below my expectations/hopes, it won't matter whether I had faith or not; Ijust may be spending my 20$/CDN somewhere else. ![]()

I have none actually.. what I was trying to say is that everything will be so nerfed than "no matter where you go, you are there"

It's really a given that defense stacking is a nessecity in PvP. I would much rather have my LP and smuggler specials then wasting time on extra defense.
But on the other side of it... Not being able to stack defense means taking out the customization of templates. Most all pistollers will be the same thing now instead of either this or that which is the only thing I don't like about the removal of stacking.
Also.. I'm going to pissed if the developers ruin the smuggler specials for pistol or move them up to master smuggler.
I think (and this is just me) but based on what I have read they are changing combat to be more group reliant. What I mean is that all professions should feel "needed" and important to the overall outcome of the battle. Right now the only thing a straight pistoleer is good for is fodder. They are making each profession good for something. I think that the customization will always be there. If you want you can be a fencer/pistoleer but the catch is your defenses/skills do not carry over. Meaning you can't stack the dodge modifiers of fencer andpistoleer together, they will become seperate, hence the doing away with stacking.
Current system - Fencer dodge = 50 Pistol dodge = 50 totals 100 dodge stackedwhen carrying a pistol/1hand
New system- Fencer dodge = 50 Pistol dodge = 50 totals 50 dodge for fencer and 50 dodge for pistoleerseperately.
I think that most pistoleers will understand that they are basically all the sameas far as pistoleer skillsbut its what they do with the other skill points that make them different, just like it is now, just without the carry over or "stacking"

What I liked about UO is that you have an entire list of indivual skills to choose from and then you put them together in any which way you liked to make a template all your own.
But without any carrying over of defense... There is no customization. There isn't anything a fencer or RM can do differentiate themselves from a fellow fencer or RM in terms of skills. Pistollers can go and get BH pistol, novice commando and DF4 but other professians will be stuck.
