Not the same thing. Capped maxed dmg on the scatter is 948. The capped max damage on the de-10 is higher, despite not known exactly , but is is higher.

Because of the way the slices are working now ( liek you get a 10% dmg slice, but the damage actually was only increased by 2 or 4) , the de-10 is the one with higher chances to pass 1000 max damage.
