Talus is now my new home till I spend all the pistol points I can afford. Went there yesterday and in made a week's normal exp in a couple hours. Best kill yet : 12 kimas dotted at once. Amazing.

And if you mess up and they incap you, they don't deathblow (from what I have seen). **edit** lag.

Well, i took your advice and went to Talus lastnight, killed Kimas and Tortuns (or whatever they are...basically giant turtles).

The sharnuffs are relatively rare on Corellia (They look just like Tatooine's rontos). The only place I have routinely seen them has been in remote "foothills" areas. (byfoothills i mean the plains regions near mountains.) As for tabages, they seem to like spawning near rivers, though I suppose that this could be just luck or coincidence on my part.

On another note, I can say that I have found interesting encounters by exploringrivers, especially far from the cities.There was a dark jedi spawn point on one of the rivers for a while (there was a fixed camp by the river that the jedi seemed to own, though I didn't stick around to ask. Another river camp spawned hostile rodian bounty hunters for a while.

I assume that these sites shift over time, but I always find something interesting along the riverbanks.

Not sure if this helps but Tabage destroy missions are difficulty 11 on Correlia. I actually get them fairly often now. Since I get the destroy missions I have stayed on Correlia. The exp is not as great per tabage (vs kimas) but I get the destroy missions easily enough so I never have to run around searching for them. Overall I think its is better then hunting Kimas on Talus since you reduce the time needed to run around and find a camp. Will be trying out Kimas again though in the near future. I still have not been able to find any destroy missions for them, if I could then I would definitely be doing kimas over tabages.

Also if you are fighting jax's make sure you guys are using the "That weapon sucks I'll never use it" Pistol the DX2. It does acid damage and where my 41-155 FWG5 was hitting for 20s it hits for 150s with normal blasts.

I am mixed on Jax's... while they do give good xp I am finding less of them then other species... lok for example has small kritters as well as the giant Kimogila's that give real good experience. The Kimogila's can be taken with a pretty small group and people are always willing to group to hunt them. We find packs of 5-10 all the time and take out one at a time getting well over 2k pistol experience per time(make sure u r within like 50m or even closer when they die b/c sometimes u wont get xp) and they are not hard to kill.

Ive been experimenting with Jax's, I am getting pretty good experience but I cannot go through them as fast as I can go through a Kimogila for a tad less experience. And even a 2 man crew taking out banthas can get in tons of xp b/c of how common they are on tatooine. Rontos for example take real well to being knockdown'd and shot =-)

Kima wolves are the slow ones on Talus. Don't expect them to always be slow, their description says they are fast and agile. I would think that the Devs will correct how they move more inline with what their description says. I know I have personally /bug reported them. Sure I love the fast exp off them like anyone else but it's borderline exploit and almost criminal to kill them.

Early on, feral banthas near Mos Entha are great. If you get into this one canyon, it's especially easy. Anger them and then charge up the canyon wall (the better you are at Exploration, the safer this is) and shell them from above. Later on, you can do it with nastier banthas (like dune banthas) without cliffs 'cause you'll have that wonderful "warning shot"

I search and cant find Kimas, well, found one, but i found a panther that will max at 7k stats! Dont know where ur Uber XP is hiding

I also like the kimas but I find they have so much health and are so slow it just gets boring and annoying when I end up running into an agreessive heard of other animals while fighting the kima. I find the best xp is from storm troopers, I can take on two at once usually and each gives me about 2000 xp and great loot. Last three times I've looted I've found skill enhancers on them.
