having 1.3 you would have been better off slicing it for damage, after the slicing and speed mods for pistoleer, the speed slice is basically a waste as your probably down to 1 anyways. For example, You can have a .5 speed gun but it will still shoot at 1.0 shots per second.

It's funny ... I have a 1.1 (sliced) speed Scout and I was pissed when I got a speed slice instead of a damage slice. Once you climb up the Pistoleer tree, the speed of the weapon becomes irrelevent because you keep hitting the one-second cap.

For all you novices out there, carbines and rifle speeds increase just as dramatically as they get speed modifiers ... so that carbineer with +100 speed is shooting a carbine as fast as I can shoot my 1.1 speed Scout.
