2.No, if they want to be the best they should have to dabble with their remaining points into carbine or pistoleer.

If I spend all my points into combat professions I should beat someone who hasn't spent all there's in combat.

2. No. In truth, BH spends only ~28 credits on learning Pistols to Pistoleers ~77. They get their bonus from the ability to switch to a weapon that best suits the situation. We should be the best overall at all things Pistols.
