I think all the devs should play the game. They should all rotate professions once a month and see first hand whats going on. I bet they would get alot more feed back in game then out. I think the forums have their place and there is some good people in here and some really good correspondants but they should be a player resource not a developer one.

The forums are a great idea but thepeople that post on the forums are just a small minority of the player base and the majority of these posters are not out for whats best for the game.For every good post I read there'sone asking for some uber special (when i say uber i mean to do a delay or KD and some status effect and high damage and attack one HAM bar and take little HAM)or to have someone elses skills or to get new cosmetics (who cares about twirling a pistol when we have specials to fix) or they just ask for the infamous nerf.

Another way for them to get in the know is to justdo an in game survey through the email or something. The best way for the devs to use the forums is to use the lists thecorrespondents send to them and use that for an in game survey to see how everyone in game feels.

It seems to me like they don't have enough "devs" working on this game. They should have a person that works exclusively with the ranged weaponry since it is the most widely used combat style. They should probably do it with other things too like, melee, crafting, medical etc...

I mean, if you can't fix something that has been a black-ball for weeks and weeks like the DX2, then where is all your time going?
