I am recieving conflicting certifications...
In my skill tree I am certified
But when I examine the weapon it says I'm not.
Any thoughts?
for me as well, It tells me I am certified in my cert box, and the examine window tells me I am not, however, I can use it for full damage, and it hits just fine, was throwing fan shot with it all over the place, works fine for me, could care less about the examine window, hope everyone else has at least "tried" using the gun to see if they get the "not cert message" when equipped, else i presume about 50% of the ppl can use it, just they didn't take the 5 seconds to try, FYI all

I am human, imperial. Cert shows in my cert box, btu does not show on weapon and it does 1/4 damage when fired as though I am not cert'd. Post patch made gun.
Any ideas?

Are you absolutely certain that this gun was crafted by a Weaponsmith after the patch? I haven't seen this happen with anyone else. Let me know if this continues to be a problem for you.

Perhaps if you chose Naboo as your starter planet you get the cert? This one is far-fetched I know. I'm sure people can speak up quickly if they have the cert but started their play on another planet.

I'm not sure if it's the AP value or the damage type or what, on critters like chubas, gubbers and other stuff in newbie areas (stuff that has a blank screen where resists usually are listed) give way lower damage than you should be seeing with pretty much any/every pistol. Go find something stronger to test the pistol on, it should make a big difference... seems like anything that lists any kind or resists or vulnerabilities will give proper results, but the newb mobs are skewed for some reason and make every gun seem broken.

I used BS2 on a couple chubbas and did a whole ~200dmg a shot so something is obviously broke.

I'm 100% sure mine was created after the patch and it says I'm not certified to use it. *sigh* (Human)

That's happening to a lot of people. But when you use it, doesn't it still work anyway? Let me know.

It doesn't give me the 'not certified' message when equiped, but does say "Certified: No" when I examine it. I used BS2 on a couple chubbas and did a whole ~200dmg a shot so something is obviously broke.

200 per shot means it's not broken ... if it wasn't working, you'd be doing much less than that. Try hitting some more stuff to be sure.

If you use a post-patch Blaster, though, it should work.

So my lovely RB that I bought ages ago, with the best non-Krayt stats of any of my weapons because one day I knew I'd be able to use it is worthless??? I have to buy another one?
Glad it's mostly fixed I guess...
