I use this macro when I'm aggroed by something while clearing a nest:

/pistolmeleedefense1;
/pistolmeleedefense2;
/tellpet 2kill target

First KD's, 2nd smashes them for 1000+pts of damage, third sics my #2 pet on them so that when they get up, they have something to worry about.

Or, you could use:

macro1PvE: /tellpet attack (if you have a good tank pet)

Wait for the critters/NPC to aggro the pet then

Macro2PvE: /pistolmeleedefense1; /fanshot; /fanshot; /fanshot; /bodyshot2; /bodyshot2;

Use this one till the first critter/NPC is dead then:

Macro3PvE /ui action CycleTargetOutward; /tellpet attack; /fanshot; /fanshot; fanshot; /bodyshot2; /bodyshot2

If not dead hit your Macro2PvE till dead then repeat with MacroPvE3

Dangerous macro if you have more than one aggro or are in a densely populated mob swarm... You could have 5-6 on you in the time it takes your pet to engage just one of them...

My maco is

/say Die you piece of crap

Then I shot with the hot keys becuase I like the flexablity to pick my shots depending on how the battle is going.

Only macro I use is one for my healthshots to save space in the toolbar. I too like the flexability of having all commands available to me depending on how the situation presents itself.

The only combat things I have "macroed" (in fact, not a macro) are :

- Examine, to check what kind of resist / armor my opponent is wearing (works better in PVE for sure but not useless in pvp, especially because you can target ppl thru walls)

- every gun

All the rest is so depending on the situation I prefer not rely on bad habits and be the more efficient the fastest I can. I know where are placed all my useful specials, so I really don't need any macro.

I find them dangerous.

Very true

First I mask scent. The I send in my pet to attack and draw all the aggro while at a safe distance. Then I reel em in using:

/tellpet follow

Then, away from any neutrals or liars I proceed to spam /fanshot and use pistol knockdown.

It's a deadly combo.
