Considering they're only two-buttons apart, it's something I appreciate, find easy enough, and wouldn't change for the world. Besides, I enjoy using the tilde key (~) to bring up my radial menu too much.

every attack is my default attack, cause most of the time what special im using depends on the situation im in, but i do however use quickdraw alot though.

Ranged shot is a good idea.

I been looking for a default attack when I'm in a group and need to look away for a moment and especially for on lairs... Something that doesn't cost much Action and gets the shot out there.

Usually though I just hit Torso, Critical, Body and one other shot randomally... The states you can apply don't last long and don't always stick which for me makes them a waste of Action. I do use stopping shot every so often and then two others for opening attacks but that's about it... Not worth the action cost for me.


Prior to the downgrade I used macros alot. Not as in I had alot of macros but that I would use 1 or 2 alot. One would apply all the dots and then I had another which I don't remember. But usually I did everything manually as macros get in the way when an emergency comes up.

Right now the only macros I use is one to mount/dismount and one to equip/unequip armor.

Hold Ctrl and click the icon on your F-bar that you want as your default.

A little checkmark will appear and unless you have something else in "queue" it'll auto attack with that move.

PvP... Disarming Shot...

PvE... Ranged, Place or Lethal Shot...
