instead of using pistolwhip could i just use panic shot? after the nerf it will cost a pretty good amount less action.

Stoppingshot doesn't have any special effects attached to it. It does a great deal of damage in one shot, and it has a long'ish recharge time. So it won't do anything to stop the Baz Nitches from incapping you very quickly. You need knockdown or warningshot to avoid getting hit.

I am a Rifleman (Expert Sniper). I have just been reading the Pistoleer forums to get an idea of the tactics you guys are using ingame. I see by reading this thread, you guys are backing to the maximum distance from the Baz Nitch and firing (ie 64m). How is it possible that you are hitting the creature?

In my eyes, this has got to be some sort of a mistake. How does a pistol have that much accuracy at that distance when my rifle has no accuracy at close distance. The ammount of misses I make when the enemy is within 20-30 meters is very troubling. Even more troubling to me is that a pistol can hit accurately at 64m... my best distance.

I am not complaining, but wish to ask a legitimate question. Do you honestly think that this range issue of your having good aim at 64m is correct? Is this aim issue something that you can aspire to in your class? Or is this just something that all pistol users can do naturally? How big is the chance that you actually miss the shot?

I am sorry if I am asking too many questions. I am just trying to clarify some issues that many of my class, Rifleman, are having with other classes such as Pistoleer, who seem to have the same range as a rifle user, with much fewer of the disadvantages.

Just so that I can contribute to this thread. The way I killa Baz Nitch is open with Mindshot1 and Mindshot2. This should be bleeding the Baz Nitch for approximately 1800 points of damage per turnaround. This is done with my Laser Rifle. After Mindshot2 is fired, I start firing Headshot3 for upwards of 2200 points of damage per hit. This is inconsistant though because of the stats on my Laser Rifle (33-490 damage 6.0 speed sliced for power and using a max damage powerup). Once the creature gets withing 30m of me, I put away the Laser Rifle and pull out my Spraystick (44-190 damage 1.3 speed). This is when I fire my Warningshot. This sends the Baz Nitch running away, and all i do is follow and wait for his death.

I know my methods dont apply to any of you, but i felt that with my afore-mentioned questions, I was obligated to contribute to this thread.
