I forgot to mention that latter in the day and once I had stoppingshot while buffed with muon I was taking out both lairs inside the muon downer which I believe is 10 minutes.

I don't know if it was a fluke or what, but I made a macro that spammed bodyShot2 10x in a row and my xp went from 300 per mob to anywhere from .... get this .... 1k to 3.3k per mob.I was in the same type of group, in the same place, hunting the same stuff, using the same weapons.

If it was a fluke, I hope it's the kind that sticks around forever!

if i were named by an indian i would be called, One Who Hunts Rontos. well that is my trick. i prone, healthshot 1 and 2; warningshot; peace; stand; and then i wait, finish the kill then bam 2-3k pistol xp. piece of cake. now that i got my double tap i'm hitting for 600-800 damage per tick. god that took forever though, but then again in the middle of my pistoleer grind i decided to be a holocron junky and master dancer but i'm back in the game and what a reward it was to get double tap, and i was thinking that pistoleer was weak, sha!

My advice, go to corellia try to find some static spawns of Giant Carrion Spats, Humbabas and Grondos. Make sure you are at least at medic 0020 so you can use a good stim B put the stims in your bar ready to hit if you need it.Try to get some good kinetic armor and you are set to go. These creatures give you up to 2.9k in xp. I can take out full lairs with this template and no buffs. Also keep in mind that these creatures group agro so bleed each one of them and dont forget to spam your area point blank shot when needed.

Do flit missions on Lok for 3k. Really easy pistol xp.
