read the forums, im not wrong, i said 11/13 are broken OR redundant,body shot 3 is **edit**, have you tried it?
i know my pistols inside out =)

That is OLD! Health Shot 2 hits only the health pool, pointblank single 2 works, but is pointless, Body Shot 3 works, it does more damage than 2, but less than Health Shot 2, I checked it myself, stopping shot works as intended, but should be better, fan shot works, pmd works, and thats it.

Yeah im in the process of finishing up rifleman for the second time and dumping pistoleer......gettin suped up for the dwb yeaaahhhhhh

I dropped Master pistolleer as soon as the weapon switch delay was implemented, I would go back if the delay was lowered to half what it currently is. But, I will NEVER EVER give up Rifleman to much fun!!!

I really enjoyed pistoleer.. and with the Dirty Fighting tree from smuggler and some accuracy food you'll be quite a PvP force.

Did pistols before. It was fun. Something about pistol whipping people had me hooked for a while.

many pistoleer specials are broken but they're still good for what they have. i'm curious if multitarget shot was bugged purposely so it would work if they ever add dual weilding. as a pistoleer dont expect to deal too much damage in PvE

Check out the two professions in my signature. I really like pistols, but you pretty much have to devote a full template to pistols to be really good, and then you are still not going to be as good as a rifleman. My first character was Cauil, and with the way the game is now I would never be without a Rifleman.
If you want to accept that you will not be as good in PvP (AP0 stun weapon versus AP1, weaker mind shot) and weaker in PvE (far lower DPS and lack of medium or heavy armor piercing) but will have a good amount of different damage types then go pistoleer. You can still drop rancors but don't expect to get invited to many Death Watchraids. You can still PvP, probably to some level of effectiveness if you develop a good technique, but not as well as an experienced rifleman.
If you only have one ranged profession, my advice would be to work on hitting the speed cap. Your DPS as aspeed capped Master Rifleman is just awesome.
I have the ultimate pistol template and a Master Rifleman, but that's just my two cents. Who knows, maybe dual wielding pistols will make it the new FOTM.

Pistols are fun, but sadly they are kinda useless for just about everything.DE-10 is so hawt though.
