also there are moves in real life which increase your accuracy with dual guns/pistol, the cross over method(using 1 arm as a rest)...seen in many movies I am sure, maybe be advancing higher in the pistoleertree you will reseive stances which improve you daul weilding capabilities,so once you reach master your accuracy will be very goodbecause you have the best stance saywith the corssover method.

the devs have leaked a bit for the upcoming combat balance that there will be new speed caps put in place...... and they will be VERY hard to reach.......
also that the speed cap was never supposed to be reached in the first place
also the 1 second cap is the absolute fastest a weapon will fire due to server constraints
how thedevswill work the specials, accuracy, i have no idea,
but i predict speed will not be changed, but rather let us fire two pistols at the same time, giving us essentially twice the combat power, twice the HAM cost, twice the speed
this would radically increase our chances at being formidable again

I think dual pistols should be master pistoleer. I think as far as operation of speed goes, each pistol should be able to fire at the speed cap of 1, effectively doubling our speed. This would bring new dynamics to the class and to pistols... as low HAM pistols would be a must, so going for the largest most powerful pistols may not be the best way to go. I also think that any special should be able to be used in conjunction with dual pistols. The Combat Balance will (hopefully) change some things in pistoleer and make us a respectible combat class.

There has to be a drawback of some sort...you just cant say ok now you get twice as fast and all that fun stuff. There has to be balance...whether its lower accuracy (god forbid) or something of the like you cant just give more power with no drawback.
Maybe lower speed cap down to .75 and Accuracy while moving -20 Accuracy while standing -10
Remember the stance you use while standing is taking very careful aim...while dual wielding you arent exactly aiming very well...

Thunderheart has said Dual Wield is on a presently unknown timeline, but me & FURY_Chaser (Fencer Correspondent)are making it clear that it's a hot topic. We're poised to strike when the time is right..
In the meantime, discussion is good.
