I think many questions could be answered with "we're working on that with the combat rebalance." Even the question above can be. It would go something like this.
"We're still ironing out the details of the combat revamp. When we get it all worked out we will let you know."

if we ask anything about changing pistoleer, then we will only get combat balance responses.
so our choices are to either ask questions about how pistoleer got so bad (past) or about the intended design for us, which we pretty much know.

They can keep their fancy scatter pistols....My bothan is laughed at enough for his height without trying to shoot people with an industrial hairdrier.
