Thread: Serious players need to quiet whiney, pubescent NOOBS

I can recognise some seeming 'unfairness' in some professions seeming to outclass others in PvP. But, man, what amazes me is how PvPers think that's the only playstyle in the game. In PvE there are alot of ways in which Pistoleer has more flexible and useful attacks (and soon functioning defenses) than Bounty Hunter or many other classes. And even then SOE lets us make the character we want to make - to pick the skills and the classes we want to have. In fact, if there wasn't PvP in the first place we'd probably see a much greater variety of experimentation with character classes and a helluva lot less whining in these forums. It's all about 'my class first'. I have to crack up when I turn to any forum and read about people hating dabblers and how their class is underpowered, usually with dubious statistics to back it up. I see it in the BH, Commando, TK and Creature Handler forums.

As a sometime Squad Leader I have to chuckle. Everyone's so underpowered! It's terrible! Yeash. And the only people I see complaining are PvPers that have tried to build the uberest character they can imagine but when it doesn't win all the time they don't consider rebuying new skills or trying something different. They entrench and try to get everyone else nerfed or themselves buffed. Not just Pistoleers - in every single class forum you see this.

And PvPers are such a minute minority among players...yet they're the ones creating mountains out of molehills over and over and over again.
