What am I missing?

My DX2 clearly outperforms my Republic Blaster.

Both are standard crafted. ???

Status update...just had my glue gun sliced with an unbelievably nice 34% to damage...my gun now does

87-279 damage.....that my friends...is equal to an FWG5 with average krayt tissue pre-patch...and this gun had no krayt tissue in it at all...was pure slice. Now I just slap a 33 speed powerup in the sucker and I've got a gun with that damage and light armor piecing firing at 1.7 speed.

I'm a happy Pistoleer I am.

Difference is, from what Ive seen, is that the republic balster has better range mods

It depends on the server, really. On my server the Republic Blaster is better, from what I've seen.

Don't forget that the DX2 is far less accurate and also requires five Krayt tissues to upgrade (Republic only requires three).

They didn't get the sound right - this pistol is from EP I, the ones Amidala and the Funky Bunch were using against the Trade Federation droids.

We should get the grappling attachment in the next patch.

We don't need the grapling attachment in SWG. Anyone can just walk right up the cliffs in Theed.
