I suspect the original posters meant Pistol XP.
Thanks for all the suggestions, it's given me some food for thought.

Umm ok are we talking combat xp or pistol xp? Cause I think everyone is talking about pistol xp, where as the poster said combat xp?

900k pistol exp is doable (without BH). Use fanshot to take down multiple targets healing a lair. Go to a place with lots of spawns, run between missions and kill everything between (I really don't do missiosn either, other than the two initial ones when I am trying to get experience, waste buff time going back to get more missions), try to find the fastest, hardest hitting gun you can use and use healthshot 2. Focused ham shots always worked best for me. Be sure to examine everything before you shoot. If you have master marksman, it helps with the speed. Endor is a highly underused planet to get exp on as is the area around the Krayt graveyard.
900k combat exp, I think this is a mistake, that is over 9 million pistol exp after rounding rules.

As for pistol xpI actually did get this amount during my last hunt for mastering pistoleer on dantooine with savage queeker missions, but that was back when they had less ham and weren't spitting, can't say anything about the other places or how it is now since it's been a while since I hunted for xp.

You can get a fair amount if you find an opposing faction base to farm. Preferably 3+ that are close together. Just use fan shot and kill everything at the base, being speed cap helps though.

Uhhhm, people where are you grinding?
Within a buff session of 3:45 today, I managed to obtain 900k pistol XP on Tatooine, went to Dath to convert it, went back to Tatooine and grinded another 900k XP. That's 1,8mio XP per session. The buffs were gone just when I was about to leave for Dath again.
Its very simple. It's called Squill Cave at non-peak times.
/edit: At least this is very well working with my template.

i got a 3 and a half hour buff today and started doing huurton huntress mission on dantooine. I was easily able to do 3 of these missions per brandy and i tended to get 55k - 60k xp per lair depending on the amount of babies. Well, 60 x 3 = 180k xp every 40 minutes. 210min/40min = 5.25 x 180k = 945k xp.
My template at this moment is master smuggler/pistoleer 2244/merchant stuff
I have no bounty hunter skills or speed attachment, just a nice damage sliced geo blaster (2.5spd 170-302 damage)
So, if you hustle, it is no problem to knock out 900k xp per buff
AND i think if you hustled a bit more than i did, you can easily squeeze in more than 3 of these per brandy.

Well.. i'm doing around 900 000 pistol xp per hour, thats almost 2 700 000 xp per buff by killing every thing that moves on dathomir... in fact i don't do more because I "waste" time trying to find targets. My favorite marks are Kinad Baz Nitch's... 5050 xp each one, but rancors, bracksets, bolmas ...you named it.. if i see, I kill.

get a ch friend to put a pet aggro on the lair and group the pet, or you do the same, etc, and stand back and fanshot so ucan make sure your killing multiplemobs at a time. i did pistoler a total of 6 times, between al my alts, thats by far and away the easiest, and can EASILY get 900k xp in a buff session that way. compared to melee professions, thats not much. i did tka in 3 buff sessions and i was slacking.

I can do 900k xp a buff hunting on dath or endor.Keep in mind I have bh pistols and smuggler0040 on top of master pistols.Just walk around and kill anything that cons yellow or red,they are alwaysalways 4-5 k xpper critter.

no need to worry, 900kxp is very possible. once u get fan shot, its an AoE attack (area attack) ust keep running around in circles so the area attack hits allthem. Fan shot also does very good damage ( a little less than stopping shot, but still very good) and very fast,

Ok, for one, stop doing missions. If you want to solely cap XP, you need to shoot everything and forget about credits/loot. The trips back and forth to and from with mission runs use up time.
Second, I got a buff session for 3-30, did poison and disease buffs and went to Dath. I'm a master pistoleer/master doc. I shot at EVERY freaking THING I could see walking to the Village from the Science outpost. Ok, except a NS and a Singing Mountain Clan person, those take way too long to kill for the same XP you get killing basnitches, kwi rhoa's etc. I maxxed 900XP easily with the walk. There is just simply a lot to kill out there. Then again I can stim myself easily.
I would use a DX2 mostly, since everything has acid vuln. I would hit the lair with fan shot, kill lots of bad things that pop out. If it got hairy, select all the targets, hit them with the bleedshot, then stop shot or more fan shot.
Just about everything out there gives 4k to 5k. Don't kill verne calves, they are weak. Even killed fliers for 1k of XP. Also, you easily max out combat XP.
I had thought about leaving the Northern Reasearch center, but I know a lot of NS are around there, so I didnt want to waste time.
I havent tried a walk from city to city on Endor. But, realistically, this is a true grind. So, I'm not rushing things, and just earning XP (since the FS tree novice I opened, Reflexes, had the branch Survival opened and I didn't want it, so all I'm doing is gaining XP) more or less harvesting hides for my Armorsmith.
Dant is ok, but there seems to be a lot of space between lairs, nowhere near the amount of MOBs like Dath.
