Man I really wish some would use the spell check on these posts.


As a rifleman, I do actually agree that our speed is higher than I expected but other than that, we have the same ups and downs as most professions.

The devs have earmarked the speed element of the combat system for some changes. This will affect all classes and hopefully help bring some balance to the three ranged classes. Pistoleer is likely to gain the most from the new system Carbine will be totally changed and expect so see some pissed off Riflemen cos their DPS is lower than it was. A balanced combat system is what we all want, right?


Now the one flame I will agree with is the one about not comparing pistoleer + dabling with the other master ranged classes. The coin has 2 sides. On one, we can make ourselves better by spending SPs on other classes (smuggler and BH) and on the other, if we want to make the most of our profession we have to spent SPs on other classes. the only advantage we have is that we have the choice, Carbineers and Riflemen don't. What would be nice would be to see Commando, or something, bring some extra eliteness to those two classes. Just a thought.


It's not all about specials at the end of the day.
