I like my new HCS, took it over a FWG5 for the less SAC.


Once speed sliced it will be


1.72 attack speed {Its 1.96 now, but 1.96 - (1.96*0.12) = the 1.72}
370-948 damage
17 acc
32% wound
66 SAC


As for DPS, it does matter some, not all but it does some. As the DPS is your speed/damage ratio so if you DPS sucks either you damage or speed sucks. However if you have a great DPS (meaning great speed and damage) but a bad SAC your not going to do crap for damage as your'll drain your action before you can use that good DPS.

Accuracy bonus 56 (+FFWG5 inbuilt mod)

Base DPS ( not important I know) 380.64

yep - that one is energy damage. Ive a kinetic damage one at around 900 dam/ 65 SAC to pair it up with (got confused between the two)



oh - and an edit to the above post - the slice should read 12%speed (not damage) - my bad, apologies.

I have an energy and a kinetic FW FWG5 as well. Still not used to seeing it fire red bolts.

My latest pistol is a DE-10


929 max damage with no pup


69 SAC


This includes an 8% damage slice which ended up only being about 6.5% as it was I believe crafted to 874.


The sac is capped, the weaponsmith said using barrels with no stats really hurt that and he maxed out the SAC line per my request. (his crafted barrels have -6 SAC stats, DE-10 barrels have none)


I can't remember the rest of the stats off hand, as I am at work right now. The speed was in the 2.2 range I think. I will try to get a screenshot posted in the next few days.


I used a set of 194 damage tissues and a white barrel, which was all I could find after a few weeks of searching. The weaponsmith says he thinks that white or yellow don't matter much after CU, as they both have no stats on them.

My new toys...






Needed some better cells for the scatter but it turned out ok in the end. I hear the fix for crafting with looted scopes is going to be retroactive. In the end they should be kinetic again.

Thats more of a "maybe, one day" situation. Dont be surprised if you have that energy gun for a while.

There's a fairly good example of slicing breaking the speed caps on guns.


I think it may be time to add this to our list of bugs, hmm.... maybe more of a smuggler issue... I'll have a chat with Wes.

i also capped with speed and +20 general speed
