I don't know if anyone else has posted this, but for the best action part of the movie along with a great song (Linkin Park's 'Faint'), this site has them available for download. Excellent stuff, inspiring for the budding pistoleer.

After the intro, hit 'movies' on the left to download them.

I am on the ShadowFire server and was wondering if your guild, based on the Grammaton Cleric, was going to be Imperial. The reason I ask is due to the constant misconception between the HERO of the movie and the actual ideals of the Grammaton Cleric organization as well as the ideal of the Tetragrammaton. These Ideals were fully expressed at maintaining order through conformity. This is NOT a rebel thought. In essence, the Grammaton Clerics are the elite fighting force for a government much like the Empire. ie .. One figure head (the Emporer) and a following of mindless drones who, if they step out of line, find swift retribution by at the hands of the Grammaton Clerics. The Guild "the Grammaton Clerics" has been established on the ShadowFire server since the beginning of the new year. We have set up a forum... still in the works... but mostly finished for purposes of refference.

We are an Elite Imperial guild that maintains order and conformity in the galaxy. If your guild is going to be rebel or neutral aligned, it may be best to call it the Fallen Grammaton Clerics... after the HERO of the movie, or something to that effect. I am a very big fan of the movie and would find having a rebel guild of Grammaton Clerics or the TetraGrammaton a bit missleading to those who have yet to see the movie or even upset some that already have. Feel free to visit our DoJo ...styling borrowed from the winner of the galactic home show from the Bloodfin server TKA Guild and modified slightly for our needs... or look at the teaser pics on the forum provided above.

For you Imperials out there, may you be a force for the Imperial War Machine....

For all the rest, I cant say that I am too sorry but may you die swiftly under the weight of the Imperial War Machine.

Thank you for taking the time to hear / read my thoughts on this matter.

Sincerely,

You're right, Rangakar, the Tetragrammaton Clerics did more resemble the Empire than the Alliance, but I don't think we're trying to immitate the ideals and philosophies of the Tetragrammaton as we are focusing on the perfection of the art of gunfighting. We plan to develop our own background story and history to support this guild/Order, and we aren't going to carry all the Tetragrammaton "no emotion, no passion" credos with us into this. The name and guild is like a focal point for developing our profession into the best it can be... To stretch it to its maximum potential right now, and then build on it when the CURB comes around.

Hello ragnakor, we are in fact a rebel guild. I think for the most part we were all rebels and wanted to remain that way, also the majority of pvpers are imperial (at least on Valcyn). We are not actually Grammaton Clerics, we are more just loosley basing our guild off of that idea of elite "gunfu" warriors. We have not come up with our back story yet but are working on it. We might be "fallen" from a group like yours, or the hero of the movie, or we might be something to the effect of we used to work for the republic and now work to restore that peace in the galaxy. I am sure we will post our back story here for you to read. Would be cool if we could battle each other lol. By the way I might come check out your dojo, be cool to see what you did.

:: Transmission :: De-bugging Imperial CODE 469-J78 ::

I am very interested in reading your back story and you are all welcome to come visit our DoJo. As an Imperial, it saddens me to see a group of elite trained hunters / fighters fall under the false hope of the rebels but I commend you for maintaining your roots of focus, determination and perfection in the arts of the Grammaton Cleric. I t6hink it would be funn for the two guilds to duel it out but we are many galaxies apart. Alas, we can only dream of the amazing acts of elite combat we would see if this fight were to take place.

Again, I salute your devotion to the arts and am happy to hear that you are not trying to continue on the ideals of the TetraGrammaton in a rebel fassion. I must chuckle a bit at the idea of rebels trying to organize in an Imperial fassion. Like a liitle brother mimicing their hero. But I now know that you are not following this ideal.

May your training and vigilance bring you honor among our "type" and be a force to be feared. Just be wary of those like you still fighting to maintain order through conformity . /evilgrin

Hello this is the starter of the post and i would like to get back on the subject of the real deal with pistoleer instead of making guilds based off of equilibrium. I haven't seen the corrospondent respond to this post at all so i take it he has no interest in what this move can provide ie ideas on different pistol styles, guns, what have you. Anyways, hopefully this will get read by the right people and have something done about a profession that should be one of the best in pvp.

I hate to rez a dead post, but...

I just watched Equilibrium for the second time. Oh man what a great movie. Not 5 minutes after I finished watching it, I logged onto SWG and saw an e-mail notification that somebody named "Grammaton Cleric" bought something from my weapons powerups vendor! Was that one of you guys?

Anyway, I decided to do a search through the forum archives for the phrase "grammaton cleric" and was amazed how much that movie has been discussed on these forums over the past couple of years. click
here
for an old thread that is especially relevant to what you guys have been discussing.

I just started a guild called Cleric of the TetraGrammaton (CotTG). Our members all have pistol templates, which the acception of the smuggler/tkm/pistol guys. Most are BH though as we live by the BH creed. We have recruits and clerics. To become a cleric u must first complete your template then finish your solo task set forth. BHs is defeat a jedi mark solo. The others that are not BHs will be given a task that is equal in dificulty. This task will be set by the Council of Clerics. Its fun so far for us, the most important part is to not take this to seriously and maintain the fun. Only 7 members so far but I just set up the guild last night, lol. We are accepting new members if anyone is interested. If you already have a complete template u will automatically obtain the rank of cleric, its a veterans thing, hehe. Take care all.

Yeah watching equilibrium gets me thinking why can the devs do this for the game itself? Not so much as "gun fu" but styles or stances of some sort.
