I spent the entire day getting three faction pets and then i decided it's time to go kill some imps- i'm a weak pistoleer (0,0,1,0 i think) but this isn't about pistoleer vs BH this is BH in general - i purchase my ticket to Bestine from Coronet while overt - i travel - and BOOM! i spawn with full health, full action, 3/4 mind and i'm knocked on my butt! and needless to say - i can't stand back up - at least two bounty hunters camping starport with underhand shot - knocking me over and then they damage my mind - i get incapped and slayed and then they pick off my pets - word to imperials and bounty hunters - on this forum there is another post about camping rebels - at coronet there are about 20-25 rebels sitting OUTSIDE starport at all times - but not inside. now to bounty hunters - enjoy it while you can - spamming skills like that is rediculous - i really hope devs do something to fix this

How does this have ANYTHING to do with Bounty Hunters? Honestly, if your a decalred rebel, you have no buisness taking a shuttle into a known imperial town. That is just plain stupidity. Also, what makes you think they were camping the shuttleport? maybe they were just waiting for one and your dumb ass shuttled in. I mean, honestly.

And also, pistoleers can spam knockdowns. mugglers can spam knockdowns. TKA cant spam. BH have trouble spamming, but it can be done. So basically you want the BH knockdown changed but you would like to see the pistoleer knockdown not get touched?

If you know this then why post this whiny drivel?

Also if you are going to travel travel as covert cause you NEVER know who is waiting for u to step off that shuttle.

You decided to take this risk when you signed up for you faction. Suck it up and be a man about it.

first off....what the hell you thinking traveling from one planet to another with your faction pets out?

your just asking to loose them, sadly this is how it is

secondly dont point at bh about knowdown spamming, all the bloody classes are still doing it even after the nerf, needs a timer plain and simple....extra ham costs just mean anyone with stims can do it all bloody day, or even just the first one to connect a knockdown.....godknows id still have enuff ham to keep someone on the ground for the 15 seconds it takes me to kill them......thats just what 3 or 4 pistol whips?

the system seriously needs to be overhalled....i suggest something like 5 seconds after the person gets back up they cant attack, aposed to the 15 seconds, and then u have 5 more secs after that u cant kd....giving them a **edit** chance to actually fight back.....

also, what the hell is the point of this post? this has got to be one of the worst trollings ive ever seen, its just an open invite for bh's to come in here and say things to spark up more pistoleer vs bh bs

I think that there is enough Hostility on these boards ( in general not just BH or Pistoleer ) to last a lifetime.

I play on kettomoor, but this (and many like it) we should have a BH vs. Pistoleer war one night lol.... that would be fun, I'm both so i'm torn

In all seriousness, you have only 2 pistoleer boxes, and you got surprised by TWO bounty hunter players that were obviously waiting for combat. Had you strolled into town at mastery level, you could have possibly taken both at once, depending on your other skill choices.

So I rank the issues like this:

1. you got suprised

2. you were outnumbered

3. You were not as far along in character development as your opponents

4. Always remember that someone that chooses BH pistol4 or BH carbine4, will be very competitive in PvP. It takes longer to achieve the skill mods and specials in other combat lines to compete with a single BH tree. They have a fast track to PvP, which is OK, since for the most part, unless the master BH skills are insane, they top out there and have far fewer skill points leftover. So that's equivalent of two 4 4 4 4 master gunfighters fighting you, with surprise. I don't see how that's an issue with BH.

With the way the game is currently set up, a master pistoleer trumps BH pistol4, trust us. If anything...expect master BH to be VERY capable. That's my take anyway.
