Speed cap for most crafted pistols is 94. And you can see which moves are the most powerful / effective ... here.
Hope that helps.

Not sure what you mean by that.
At a guess... The speed you fire a weapon at is determined by two things.
1) Your PIstol speed mod, for instance, +74 at Master PIstoleer (press CTRL+S and you can view all your mods)
2) The speed rating on the pistol, you can see this if you examine a gun, typical speed of a DE-10 for example is around 3.6 speed which can be a bit slow for a Master Pistoleer to fire, the fastest guns are 1.0 speed.
Once you get to about 95 Pistol speed mod on your character, the speed formula sort of breaks and you can fire any special from any gun under about 4.0 speed at 1 special per second.
Hope that helps.

dont think you answered my question but you did solve the problem i was hoping to solve by asking the question i did!!
you said that with a +95 speed mod i can fire any gun at 4.0 or lower (higher) speed and shoot any special one sec each...
on to another question....people say that +74 is the speed cap for pistol use, but i have speed benefits from my BH oo4o, is there a cut off that my BH benefitswould go over and thereby be ignored? this is very important to me cause i dont want to waste skill points in BH if i can go up in other areas
THANKS FOR THE ANSWER!!!!!

I guess to put a finer point on it would you say these aretrue statements...
if i had a gun with a speed of 1.0 i would need a relatively low(ish) speed mod to fire it at its peak speed
if i had a gun with a speed of 4.0 i would need a very high speed mod to fire it at its peak speed
and if i had say +129 speed theres NOPOINT in trying to find weapons with higher speeds? that only people with low speed mods NEED faster weapons?
and also that i wouldnt benefit at all from having +25 skill attachments?
if you can answer these questions ill be your best friend!

You have BH pistols and Master Pistols? Then you are speedcapped with all guns.
Press CTRL+S when you are in game and scroll down the list of player mods you have, you will see Pistol Speed in there, that is your current pistol speed.
The +74 speed is the speed a Master Pistoleer gets, without BH pistols. You can go up to 125 but anything over 100 doesn't make much difference.
So yes, if you have 129 pistol speed, you dont care about the speed on a gun, you can fire them all as fast as possible.

Right... accuracy...
When you fire at something, a check is made between your Pistol Accuracy mods and the targets Ranged Defence mod.
The higher your pistol accuracy and the lower your targets ranged defence the more often you will hit, if you have low accuracy and your target has high ranged defence then you will miss more often.
This only really comes into play in PvP where players can cap their ranged defence (at 125), then you need high accuracy to be able to hit them at all.
In PvE it doesn't matter much... stuff is easy to hit.
There are a few different pistol accuracy mods...
Pistol Accuracy
Pistol Accuracy while Standing
Pistol Accuracy while Moving
Pistol Aiming
The three accuracy ones are the ones you want, CA and AA wise... the more the merrier as there is no known cap... PIstol Aiming only works when you use the /aim command.
