I'm just starting to get interested in PvP and was looking for some suggestions on approaches to combat. I have34% Stun armor, PSG,all the right foods and a decent Geo and Scatter. My template is BH 0040, Smuggler 0040 and soon to be Master Pistoleer. I was wondering if there'sany decent combos to throw out there.I've had success with the /eyeshot spam but only against opponents who wern't prepared for it. With the specials being in the state they are, is this the only real option I have?
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I dont have any smuggler skills, so this is the way I do it.

I always try to make sure that the DoT:s stick to the one that im fighting. Then its just eyeshot them until they get incap. If they are close to me I use Melee KD 1. I use a Geo Blaster (crafted) that is sliced for damage (speed doesnt matter, because I shoot at the cap). Im going to get myself a good DE-10 so I can do some damage to Jedis, need to save up some money for that first. But if you meet a Jedi and are declared and overt, just try and get away.
Remember to eat your food. I eat Synthsteak (defense), thaktillo (def vs. knockdown and aircake (dodge). I drink brandy (of course). One thing that is good is to get both a musicians buff and a dancer buff (Primary and sec. mind). If you´re fighting a melee prof, try to keep a distance from then.
Make sure you have a good armor and a PSG.
This have been working fine for me!

Nice. That's kind of what I have. I wasn't aware of those foods other than the synthsteak. I'll defniatly try some of that out...

Kg has the right idea, but you can bypass all that clicking and put all those DOTs in a macro appropriately named "DOTs" and feel free to add the skull and crossbones graphic to it.

Kg's suggestion is good, although you'll want to use intimidate from novice brawler as well, if you land a lowblow and get a few shots off the opponment while they're knocked down then intimidate them as they start to get up. This is how I beat a master rifleman today.

Did notthink of that! Is it possible to use intimitade when you are holding a pistol?
Maybe I should make a script like this:
/meleeknockdown1;
/eyeshot;
/eyeshot;
/eyeshot;
/intimidate;
/wookieroar;

I would say that food is very important in PvP.

Yes intimidate works while holding a firearm as well, I just learned this about a month ago myself.

Is not it so that hs1 and hs2 stacks? But before you could stack alot of hs2 on top of eachother, but that was changed....

Damn, I want those smuggler specials, but silly Rebels now want me to stay as squad leader as we seem to be getting organised :/
Stopping shot at the start can really put them off I think, as it's pretty powerful...
Also, try suppression fire to change their posture and slow them down if they're melee. If they're ranged, get right up to them. Also, burstrunning is good as you can run circles round them (literally) and because of the massive accuracy given by master pistoleer / BH pistols you'll still hit frequently...
Unfortunatley I'm still not too hot at PVP against good oponents because of the cost of getting a very good pistol
