What weapon were you using? I was hunting on Dathomir last night and did fine with the usual Fan Shot, Stopping shot use. I have a small macro set up for aim,Healthshot2, bodyshot3, bodyshot3...but didn't notice it doing that much damage.
Also, has anyone tested that Healthshot1 and Healthshot2 no longer stack?
(Forgive the Noob pistoleer questions, I've been a merchant and politician for many months...just learning the fighting skills.)
I was using a 298dmg 1.6 speed Mod. Repubic blaster or a 230 dmg featheweight fwg51.2speed

Yeah I noticed this too. I was doing 500-600 regularly with HealthShot 2 (using a regular, sliced DX2). While FanShot and StoppingShot were doing more damage, HealthShot 2 always hits Health now (and is faster) so I have started using it instead of StoppingShot. I hit Dathomir looking for 120K XP to get my last pistoleer box and I got it in about40-45 minutes. Never even got to my missions, just killed stuff on the way to the first one.
This may not have been a Pistoleer fix but I will gladly take it.

since healthshot2 now hits the health pool, its pretty fast, and has good damage, its probably going to be the new spam shot.
carbineers are starting to use actionshot2 a lot now, similarly.
The other day, I was using a PreNerf FWG5 stopping shot was hitting for 2K dmg easy, when my hunting partner a TKM used warcry and Intim successfully I was hitting for almost 3000 dmg. No pup, no enhancers, just me and a TKM.
My combat macro is HS2, HS1, Stoppingshot *10
