cool I sure hoped so with bh pistol 4 and master pistoleer will make killing jedi so much easier. Well in truth I am not big into hunting down jedi's just so they can endlessly grind with the mock content consept swg is trying to pawn off as fun.

Accuracy does not affect jedi hunting, unless they have secondary ranged and melee defenses. It will help getting the hit, but block is an absolute block, meaning it is not affected by state changes or other mods, it's a raw probability that it will or will not block.

I know defense mods are maxed at 125 even with profession stacking, but was not sure if this applied to the pistol accuracy line as well. (yes I know with food you can exceed the 125 cap in defense mods but as far as I know nothing else can)

Not to beat this issue into the ground but I had thought reason BH got high accuracy was so they would be able to over come that. But then jedi has been reworked while bh so far has not I guess. I f this is so I fail to see why bh is designated jedi hunter hmmmm nm light just came on in head they knew this so that is why they reduced training points in bh so a bh could pick up enough in another profession to help offset changes. OK so I am slow. P

At master lightsaber a Jedi will block 85% of the shots no matter how much accuracy you have.

Yep, if you absolutely want to hunt jedi you have to go melee.

this may not be 100% accurate, however; for pistoleers could be a non-issue anyway. I have been doing tests w/ rifle accuracy w/ skill tapes using dxr6b rifles with +118@ideal and compare them to other tests and seem to hit more often. I have also seen MBH/master carbineer w/ +200 carbine accuracy using carbines w/ +70 or higher carbines hitting more frequently than std issue. Just thought I would contribute some information although it may not help a pistoleer.

- It's time the devs end the bitter fighting by giving the community a Non Jedi server. We have a few servers with TINY populations that could be changed to this ruleset. I support this idea because it punishes noone. - You can support it too. Click Here!

Are you talking about getting through their ranged defence or their block?

the jedi said i was hitting him more often than any other rifleman to take shots at him when i was using a rifle with very high accuracy so I would assume block since he was deflecting a lot of my shots.

Not quite. The reason they reduced the requirements to Bh was not to allow him to take up another profession to help him to do his job, but to allow melee access to the investigation line to do his job for him. It has been said on the jedi forums by the DEVS that BH is no longer the "jedi killer" but melee are. They are basically reinforcing what BH was always meant to be, a stacking profession. Whether is be pistol/carbine speed and accuracy, electric damage from the LLC or now, the ability to hunt jedi.

As for the pistol accuracy question, yes. The accuracy of 155 is most useful, in addition to it increasing your chance to hit, it also increases your damage before the special move multiplier is applied, this is why all profession do more damage with the same moves as they increase in skill. I have been working for a long time to try and put a figure on this damage bonus and I believe I have figured it out, but I'm not confident enoughyet to publish it Let me test it some more and I will post it here, I promise

um well actually Bh are still designated jedi hunters.Whether or not it takes melee to kill them only Bh currently can get missions to hunt them. Irreguardless what devs post it is not always the complete truth. Hell advertisements still say wookiees are the strongest fighters ingame. LOL right P New armour not gonna change that either still will have no head hands bicep or boot protection no stun either unless they do add in some point.

Fade, if I readMetallica's post correctly he said you only need the BH investigation line to get Jedi missions, so you can be a melee BH and hunt Jedi.
